I gave you the five star installation rating because I had it professionally installed by Best Buy. This Boss radio/stereo FAR EXCEEDED MY EXPECTATIONS. I was really impressed with the screen size, the ease of functionality was extraordinarily simple and I would recommend this particular Boss item with 10 THUMBS UP Y'ALL!!!

I have a 2014 Outback, which lacks a touchscreen. I had been searching for a touchscreen car stereo system that doesn't need extensive installation efforts when I came across this one. Installation is relatively straightforward, and it is quite user friendly. The sound quality is great, making my long daily commute far less dull. The Bluetooth connectivity functions well, too. This car stereo system is a valuable addition, and it enhances my driving experience without spending a lot.

I haven't had any issues with this radio. I love all the features that are included with it. I was afraid of to lose some of the features my factory radio had, but I haven't. Car play gives me gps and access to Siri while driving. And, I can you OnX while out hunting. It's amazing!!

Smooth zero lag pushes the stock speakers even louder, solid product

really disappointed with the quality of the radio, i've heard great things about this radio and wanted something like it, so i tried it out even though it was a bit pricey, the screen bugs out and makes my speakers hums, thought maybe it was my wiring but i've redone the wiring several times and even sauntered the wires together, i still have the same problem.

Works great when it works. I will be driving down the road and it will disconnect randomly and multiple times. I was expecting a consistent connection where I didn't have to navigate the system while driving to reconnect. I used it for Maps and music and I can't get to my job site when it disconnects randomly.

As soon as I got it I had nothing but problems with it. Then after about a week the entire thing shut down. I got ahold of boss and they told me to reset it and check the fuse. The fuse and wiring was fine and the reset button only worked for a minute. It went right back to a black screen. I will never buy a boss product again.

When I received the radio and was finally able to get around to having it installed, it was brought to my attention that upon opening the box somebody had repacked the radio and interface with blue shop rags to presumably keep it from moving around in the packaging. The technician also noted the wiring harness had been cut up and somebody had even left a butt connector connected to one of the wires. The technician asked how I'd like to proceed before installation. The technician could not get the unit to power on after confirming he had power to the radio from the vehicle. It would still not work. Per his recommendation, I would like to return this item.
