So far it works great; doesn't jam and is very sturdy. Has 4 suction pads on the bottom to hold it in place on working surface. I would like a bit bigger space to insert the paper, but it probably keeps from trying to staple more than 45 pages.

I received this Bostitch B8 Impulse 45 Electric Stapler and I am very impressed. It's heavy duty and can staple 45 sheets of paper at once. It's hard to find a stapler that will do that much thickness. I love the weight of this electric stapler. It feels very sturdy and made very well. It has suction cups attached to the bottom that help it stay in place. It really helps a lot and it doesn't move around at all on my desk. It came with a package of 5000 staples inside the box which I really liked that it came with staples so I didn't have to worry about purchasing some separately. It's s good size package so I won't need to buy staples for a long time. It uses 1/4” (2-20 sheet) and 3/8” (20-45 sheets) PowerCrown Premium Staples. The staples it came with are the 1/4” size. It's very easy to load the staples and these is a button on the top that you push for the staple tray to come out. I love that it has a blue light that comes on if it is out of staples. I love how easy and fast this electric stapler staples. It's also a lot easier on my hands than using a manual one. I would recommend this to everyone. It is great in my home office and would also be great for a business or school.

I have the "Bostitch B8 Impulse 45 Electric Stapler" in black and it is pretty awesome! This stapler has a 45-Sheet Capacity which is actually A LOT of paper! I was testing this stapler on everything I could get my hands on at work. I love that it is electric so I don't even have to do anything except slide my paper into the stapler and it's done. This stapler even has a refill alert light which is awesome because there is nothing worse then when you are super busy and you run out of staples unexpectedly. Now you get a little warning BEFORE it happens. I love the little suction cup feet on the bottom of the stapler because they keep the stapler nice and sturdy on your desk. This stapler is supposed to NOT jam at all and so far, it hasn't. This stapler is a little bit loud but not too loud, I've used some staplers that are crazy loud but not this one! Everyone in my office has been using this stapler and love it. We all love the FastLoad push button staple refill system. All you have to do is push the magazine release button, pull the magazine out, put new staples in and then close it. That's it!

The Bostitch B8 Impulse 45 Electric Stapler comes in real handy when you have a large stack of papers to staple or when you have to constantly staple things together. I do a lot of projects and I deal with quite a bit of paperwork. This has also come in handy for when I make copies of estate matters to give to family. With this electric stapler, I don't have to keep picking up a stapler to attach papers together. I just place it in the stapler and let it do all the work. This unit has a refill indicator light that tell you when to refill your staples. It has suction cup feet to prevent sliding around when you are busy stapling papers together. I doubt it would slide too much anyway as it is a decent weight. The color of this stapler is very appeasing. I have tested this stapler and stapled up to 30 sheets of paper and it did fine. I doubt I will ever need to staple that many sheets together but in the case that I do, this will do the job perfectly. It is loud though when you staple. It makes a loud pop. Other than that, it's great! This unit will work wonderfully in an office setting, in your home, or at school. It came with a box of 5000 staples. It uses the B8 premium staples. Overall, I am very happy with this product and I do highly recommend.

Like most teachers, I'm a big fan of Bostitch office products. When you have upwards of 150 kids a day lining up at your desk to staple homework and daily assignments to turn in, you need a stapler that's as reliable and jam-free as possible. I don't imagine there's a place where a stapler would get more of a workout than in the American public-school classroom, so trust me. If a Bostitch stapler can shine in that setting, it's going to be great in your home office. In the box, you get a Bostitch Electric Stapler, a power cord, an instruction booklet, and a box of 5000 ¼ staples. I should note that Bostitch also very kindly included a second box of 5000 ⅜ staples in the cardboard box that held my boxed stapler. I'm pretty sure I'll never have to buy staples again in this lifetime. Before you can use your stapler, you need to load the staples. Be sure not to plug it in until you've loaded the staples first. To load, you press the magazine release button on top of the unit, which ejects the tray that holds the staples. Load it with a strip of staples, and then slide it back in until you hear it click. Now you can plug it in and staple away to your heart's content. As for how many sheets you can staple at once, that depends on what kind of staples you're using. If you use ¼ staples, you can staple 2-20 sheets at once. If you're using ⅜ staples, you can staple 20-45 sheets at a time. When your unit is getting low on staples, there is a blue indicator light on top of the stapler that will remain on until you've reloaded staples. There is a guide on the unit to tell you how to insert the paper so that the staple is inserted where you want it. It took me a couple of tries to figure out which part of the guide I needed to use to get corner staples, but then it was all downhill. This Bostitch Electric Stapler is a breeze to operate, and if you've never had one before, you're going to wonder why you did without one for so long. I know it's silly, but having it in my home office makes my space feel more professional, with the emphasis on office, and not necessarily on home.

It is amazing the things that excite you when you are an adult. This stapler is one of those things! It gets the job done and very quickly. No more struggling to staple through a stack of papers, this gets it right the first time no problems. I haven't had any issue with snagging or missing. I am really pleased with this.

This stapler works really well. It's easy to use and easy to refill. There is even a light that goes on when you're low on staples. There are suction cups on the bottom to prevent slipping. It's very well designed. I was easily able to staple 45 sheets of paper and was able to even staple 50 without a problem. This product is a must if you do a lot of stapling.

I had this and it worked for 5 months and stopped working. I purchased the 3 yr warranty but they say Walmart is responsible and Walmart says Office Depot is. I had 3 options through the warranty company I received a refund less than what I paid plus the warranty. I would never buy any protection plan they just basically stole my money, refunded me less than I paid and I still have a broken stapler. What a ripoff.

Stapler is very loud when stapling. There is no adjustment for distance from top of page. Can only staple horizontally, not on an angle. Does staple 40 pages with ease, if needed. Loads strips of staples, the same as traditional staplers. I should have done more research into this stapler before buying.
