Bostitch Personal Electric Pencil Sharpener, HHC Cutter Tech, Stall-Free Motor, High-Capacity Tray

Since my last desk-top Bostitch electric sharpener no nger worked after 20 years, (that's right, 20 years) and since Bobstitich is ONLY the best pencil sharpener period, I simply replaced the older one with this cute desk-top model. Equally efficient as my other. Before electric sharpeners came out Botstitch was the brand used in our home and in our schools.

It appears to be an excellent sharpener. Last year I purchased an Xacto electric sharpener that did not make it through one school year. This Stanley sharpener has a better cutter that doesn't split the pencil but really cuts and grinds it like the old crank sharpeners. We've only had it a few weeks so know the question is: will it last? It was a good price and Walmart delivered it quickly.

works well. but if the wood on the pencils are old, the wood will tear and splinter. and if its garbage wood that the pencils are made of, then it will misshave the pencil. the first day we had it, we sharpened over 150 pencils. different ages and sets of colored pencils and #2 older pencils, and #2 new pencils. we saved up every pencil we had. it took 2 of us over an hour to accomplish sharpening, even with electric.

Home schooling, this is one of the best %26 sturdy sharpeners I have found, kids are sharpening every pencil in the house

This product is great!! It sharpens very good has not jammed up. The grandchild uses it everyday. Sharpens evenly and think every child in school needs a good sharpener.

I work in construction. My trim people have to use pencils all the time. If I buy the big pencils then they have to use a knife to sharpen them. If I buy regular pencils, not only are they cheaper, but, it's easier to sharpen them. This sharpener works perfect every time. It works on a cord, not batteries. My boys at work love this switch and sharpener.

Worked great to sharpen #2 pencils great. Sharpened the ones with decorative coating with no problem.

Great , works really good leaves all the pencils really nicely sharpened :) Love the little compartment that catches the pencil shavings.... You can't beat it for the such affordable price ! I give it 2 thumbs up....

I returned this product because it did not meet my expectations. It did not sharpen very well. The sharpened pencil point was short (more wood than lead) and the more I kept sharpeneing, the shorter the pencil became but the lead point did not increase in length. Also, the sharpener was very noisy.
