Brach's Cinnamon Imperials Baking Candy, 12 oz

The product itself is perfectly fine, it's the ridiculous markup that led me to rate it lower. If I hadn't been under the weather, I would have gone to the store and paid a third or less for it.

My favorite holiday recipe is candied apples, but Brachs Cinnamon Imperials can be extremely difficult to find during Thanksgiving and Christmas. I have been known to start stocking up 6 months in advance to ensure I get these specific candies. So, despite sometimes being hard to locate, they are my favorite to cook with. They have the perfect taste of cinnamon and when melted are just right for cooking.

Far better than red hots in texture, they dont feel like they're going to break your teeth. They also bake well. I'm very disappointed two years ago I bought them for $1.98 last year for $2.98 and now they're $11.50.??? I cant afford them at that cost. And these are not just a holiday purchase for me I really enjoy these candies all year around!! I see that it seems they might have been discontinued, which is very sad. I hope they bring them back, even if it is just during holiday time!!! They are such a better value and purchase than red hots. GREAT accompaniment to gingerbread loaves and men. Pop of color and delicious!

The bag I got was slightly stale. The little cadies should be soft, not hard.

Brach's has some of the best tasting candy!  The cinnamon imperial have been around for many years and they were one of my favorite snacks as a kid.  They are not sticky when I hold them in my hand..  these are really good to put on sugar cookies or just eat as a snack.

I use these when I make my homemade applesauce, my grandkids absolutely love it. It gives the applesauce a great flavor and beautiful red color. Yummy 😋
