[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I was so excited to get this product. We use this at work for our students, so I am so happy to be able to use it at home. It's easy to use, slender, and works well consistently. The controls are simple and the display is clean.

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] This is really nice. It comes with several replacement tips for the ear piece and is very easy to pop off/replace. The replacement tips are stored inside the thermometer holder case that comes with it. It is not confusing to use at all. One button to change the age for accuracy which is amazing. One button for on/off. And another button to take the temperature. The reading is fast, takes less than 2 seconds. I love having multiple thermometers to test accuracy, and this one stay consistent every time. So happy with it.

AND it'll let you choose what age range you are and display accordingly. It's super simple to use, not super heavy and easy to store away. It reads your temp super quick, which I'm happy for because it's a fight to have to take my child's temperature, a couple seconds now and it's read!

[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The best thing about the Braun ThermoScan7 is how quick you get a reading. It makes it easy to use even with an uncooperative toddler. It seems to be very accurate. Being able to adjust the age range and get a color coded temperature (normal, fever, or high fever) is a nice feature. It comes with a protective case and 20 extra lens covers that fit inside the case as well. I wish I had had this thermometer with my first child!

It is very simple to use, and comfortable, which makes it easy to use on a sleeping child. I like that there are unique settings based on age for even more accuracy. There also disposable ear guards to avoid spreading germs. I also appreciate how quick it is to get a reading.

The probe is easy and comfortable to use, and the useful features make taking a temperature quick and simple. Cleaning the probe is also very easy.. overall, it is reliable, well designed, and a great addition to any home

This thermometer does not take accurate temperatures, often reading at least 2°high. When you are dealing with sick kids, the last thing you want to do is calculate their temperature. I usually run a body temp of 97°. This was constantly showing my body temp was 99°. I came down with an illness, recovered and was feeling fine though my temperature reading kept coming back slightly feverish. I had to go to work but did not want to show with a fever. After the fourth or fifth time taking my reading that day and yelling why I still had a fever, my daughter kindly informed me that it ran high. I took her temp and it showed she had a slight fever even though she was completely healthy. We ended up getting an inexpensive under the tongue thermometer and it gives an accurate reading better than this expensive piece of junk.

It gave inconsistent readings and I never felt like I could trust it, which defeats the whole point. Especially with kids, you need something reliable and this just was not. Sometimes it read normal, then seconds later something completely different. Way too frustrating when you are trying to figure out if someone actually has a fever. For the price, I expected way better. I would not buy this again.
