Breaking Games Rise of Tribes Strategy Board Game

This was a fun game for adults. It was easy to catch on.

Hanging out with my mom playing games is a highlight for me. However, she typically prefers the Uno/Skip-bo types of games. FINALLY I have found a game that scratches my gamer itch, yet has easy enough rules for her to play with me. First, we tried just basic rules without tribal powers, then when the basics were learned, it was actually HER idea to play again (immediately mind you!) WITH the tribal powers! Her favorite was the Kia-Kia (the art probably helped with that, lol), and mine was the Tunga! Great fun!

This game is great! My friends and I have been playing Catan for years and wanted to try something new and now this is our new game night game. The game is simple to learn, but has so many cool elements. There is a mechanic with the dice where you roll them and then use them to make action choices; which is so unique and makes each round different than the last. It makes you change your strategy at times. There are also different tribes you can pick from and each tribe has special powers that help you do something other players can't and there are unique events that come up throughout the game when doubles are rolled that create new challenges and incentives. Overall, I would definitely recommend this game for anyone looking for a new strategy game that is easy enough for families to play together and still challenging enough for more serious gamers.

I love this game! Rise of Tribes is a fantastic game that's perfect for all strategy gamers, with both normal and advanced play modes built right in - which has been great for the different groups of friends I've played it with. The game play is quick to learn and the mechanics are unique and intuitive, and the artwork on every piece is absolutely stunning. A must have!

Beautiful game. Enough theme and depth to satisfy me without being so complex that others can't figure out how to win. One of my favorites.

Great game!! I missed the kickstarter for this game and was extremely bummed, but I was pleasantly surprised to see it on the Walmart shelves!
