I love my little skillet, l turned 90 and can no longer use a stove for cooking but l love my eggs in the morning and grilled cheese for lunch plus hamburgers and hotdogs with no worries. I live with my daughter in my own space and can enjoy a little cooking and leave dinner up to her.
My 600watt mini 6''skillet has a slightly different lid with a plastic knob on the glass but it has a terrific multi range heat setting control. low cycles on and off- but cooks ok. high is very hot and stays on. It cooks crisp bacon-eggs- toasty grilled cheese and can heat or reheat leftovers for 1. Beware the exposed heating element on the bottom needs to be on a heat proof surface to avoid counter damage. The cook surface is easily scratched so use nylon or wood utensils. the cord is short on the easily detached dial control handle. The whole skillet gets very hot so beware fingers and kids around. The price varies a lot here [ $11.-$40. !!] - shop and watch. I paid under $11.00 [3-15-2018] I'll buy another soon as it is reduced again. This is a great gift idea and dorm item. Stay with it to control heat as it can cook fast. The low 600 watt max usage means little chance of tripping a breaker! You can cook and eat right out of the deep bowl if necessary and tiny to store. Think hot meal in the office and put in a file drawer til needed again. Enjoy this handy item.
since my husband passed away last month I've been downsizing things and clutter. No reason to cook big meals. This pan is ideal for everything. Have used it for eggs, sandwiches, even steaming frozen foods. Especially nice feature is the cord locks into place. cleans easily too.
Attaching the power cord to the pan was not like anything I expected BUT the directions and explanations were clear. I have had no trouble connecting and disconnecting it. I ahve used it only a few times, but it does exactly what is described: Takes a while to warm up, cooks evenly, marks on dial are explained in directions and apparently are accurate. My fried eggs, easy over , looked better than any I have made in a long time -- and just right in the center. I did not evaluate durability because i have had it for such a short time, but it washed easily.
Love it. Perfect for where i need it which is at my dads assisted living facility. . Not much counter space so perfect size. Cooks well. Works well.
I made scrambled eggs the first try, and it was excellent 👌 great, absolutely love this little skillet!
This is my second one and I love it! I dropped my first one and broke all four legs so I had to throw it away. Looking forward to using my new 6" Electric Skillet. Thank you for carrying such a wonderful product. Jan Watson
I like the convenience of not having to keep moving stuff off the top of my stove... Plus I can cook with it anywhere I please... I had one of these years ago and I loved it
Just the right size for a person living alone.
This burned up with-in 15 mins of plugging it in. It fried 2 eggs and then quit heating. Nothing I do works...the heating element is shot and it was 10 mins old. Don't waste your money.
