This is great and makes sharing access super easy. You can program different codes in to it and change when needed. Fits a standard deadbolt on front door. Easy to use with lit buttons. Brushed oil bronze is the perfect color. Love it and makes it easy for my kids who always forget their keys.

I have been price checking these deadbolts for while and they were all over $100. I needed two one for the house in Kansas and one for the house I'm in now. Easy set up, takes 4 batteries, and only a 4 digit code to open the door. So convenient, easy, and actually fun to use.

We just moved and I set my son up with a game room. I put this lock on his game room door. So at night I am able to lock him out of his game room as he has a tendency to wake up way too early and hope on his game before he does anything else. Installing it was extremely easy. I've always loved this type of finish on door knows and handles. So it fits perfectly with all my other knobs.

Something happened along the way and the order was delivered much later than anticipated. Installation was easily accomplished with the only exception being that the bolt receiver plate in the door frame installation was not the same size as stock. This took a while to fill in the exterior cutout and reconfigure so it would close smoothly. Programming was not easily accomplished. This initially was handicapped because the long beep(s) nor the short ones were not and are still not audible. So, this raised an extra amount of caution to try to accomplish. A phone call to the support desk finally produced desired results even though the polite lady didn't seem to be appreciative of being bothered by a customer. Has now been in service about ten days and, yes, taking all into consideration, I definitely would buy again.

The Brinks electronic deadbolt is a wonderful addition to my door, it's gives us a sense of more security. It was pretty easy to install on the door however the programing of it is a bit difficult, I plan on purchasing more of these for my other doors. Definitely a plus for our home if you're looking for one this could be the one for you I definitely recommend this product.

This deadbolt matches existing hardware perfectly. The outside hardware looks nice. The deadbolt latch on the inside and the casing, the components you look at all the time from inside your home, are cheap plastic and kind of cheapens my entryway that is very nicely arranged and decorated. It took maybe 20 minutes to install. It helps to watch YouTube videos a few times, and it went fairly easy. Programming took over 45 minutes and 3 tech support reps. It really isn't clearly explained in the little manual, with very small, blurry print. The versatility of being able to program multiple codes, as well as the option to use an actual key are big pluses. Be sure you have 4 fresh AA batteries. Another pair of hands is helpful. This is a nice looking lock FROM THE OUTSIDE! Rated 3 stars because of difficult programming, and extremely finicky, multiple reset issues.

The lock and hardware feel surprisingly more sturdy and durable than I thought it would be. It is metal on the outside. I do worry what the electronic part of the lock would do in a home invasion though. If someone smashed the electronics would it unlock? That concerns me. Installation and programming took around an hour. It was simple to install, but programming was confusing and frustrating and is what took the most time. The buttons are lighted and are also easy to press. I like the auto-lock feature of the lock, so I never have to worry if I have forgotten to lock the door or not. I also like the feature where you can input any numbers before and after your pin and it still works. This comes in handy if I have people behind me and I don’t want them to know my pin. I also like you can use the pin or the backup key. This runs on 4 double-A batteries, so I am a little concerned about what happens if the batteries die and we don’t have the keys on us. Overall, I feel like this is a good quality deadbolt, and enjoy the convenience of a keyless lock, but I still have some concerns over how well this would work if someone really wanted in my house.

Once it got cold out it no longer locks. Definitely would go for a pricier option for more security.

I ordered this online. Installation could’ve been a little easier. After installing it, put the batteries in just as it said (insert 2, press the button while inserting the 3rd) and nothing happened. I went to the store

defective turner. constantly jamming. really upset that i couldn't use this! can't even return because i unfortunately the the box out. waste of money!
