Consider spending more money
It had issues extending the deadbolt to the fully extended position making set up very difficult. i ended up banging it a hammer to make the deadbolt work. It does the job now, but I definitely damaged it to make it work. Maybe it was just a bad unit.

Worth the price
Easy to use, install, and set up. Reasonable price, great quality. I don't need to spend hundreds dollars on keyless lock. Highly recommend this product.

this was a replacement for electronic keypad. it works so much better than the old one did. i like having the electronic keypad entry. so easy, no juggling for keys.

Best product and video support ever!
I bought this lock because it was the only satin silver option to match my doorknob and I'm so glad I got this Brinks model 999-70027 deadbolt. It was easy to install and the installation and operation video is absolutely the best I've ever seen. Fabulous graphics. Think I'll get another for a different house.

Lock Works Great, Well Made, Easy to Install !
Well made, nice metal finish, easy to install, buttons light up, and it has other useful features! I like the "Autolock" feature, because my daughter always forgets to lock the door. She chose her own combination, easy to add and 50 are available, 4 to 8 numbers. I can set a "One Time Use" combination for her best friend to let herself in. Then after she uses it wont work anymore, but daughter won't have to give out her combination. Easy enough to add another and different One Time Combo. "Autolock" extends the bolt after my setting of 1½ minutes. If it does lock itself before I return from going out my car or mailbox, then I can punch in you combination again in seconds. "Autolock" can be turned off, like if you have reasons to be going in and out to bring in groceries, and it wont lock itself each time. Thinking about getting one for other exterior doors and removing the 30 year old deadbolts. I recommend this to anyone replacing their key only deadbolt door lock.
