Brinks Non-Locking Passage Tulip Style Doorknob, Satin Nickel Finish

I bought this to doorknob to lock my teenager with sticky fingers out. It was difficult to install. Lining up both sides of it was a bit tricky, but I got it done. I was surprised at the quality. It was very inexpensive, but looks, feels and works better than all of the other knobs in my apartment. I highly recommend it.

installation on this was a dream. Everything was labeled and included in the box. Instructions were clear and everything went together as I said in the title Easy Peasy.

For a while I thought my door had sagged, until I noticed that it was only the latch that was sagging. Changed the knob out with this one and all is well again.

But a 25 year old house and couldn't stand the “brass” knobs, lights, etc. I bought these knobs and love them. Easy installation and makes the house look more modern and neat looking. Excellent value for an attractive updated look!

this is a replacement knob and all knobs don't always fit the same. so the the knob is tight that said it works fine .

We have a smaller doorknob hole. I guess there are two standard sizes and ours is 1.25”. This didn't fit and bowed on the end and blocked the door from shutting. It is really only for a 1and5/8 doorknob hole.

Absolute trash. Way more difficult to line up the knob, the lock, and the screws than any other knob I've ever installed. The screws didn't line up well and put obvious stress on the components the closer I got to getting it tight. One quarter of a turn too far resulted in the knob not springing back. I loosened it and then it worked, but the lock was insanely hard to lock and unlock. I was worried someone would get themselves locked in, so I took it all back apart and put it back together, being certain to align everything perfectly. That's when I noticed the screws didn't really align at all. It's like the wholes for the inside knob are spaced differently than the wholes for the outside. This is what caused the strain on the internal pieces, making the lock nearly impossible to use for most people. Absolute trash.

Did not like my order being changed to simething i did bot want. Needed 4 door knobs for bathroom not 4 knobs for that you need a key for autistic childern locking doors and having to look for a key does not help me in any way. They panic when they cant get out and dont know what they did to to lock it.

Don't buy junk. Cheap, often, means junk. This is one of those times. I fiddled with this $15 knob for two hours and then threw it in the trash (it's not worth waiting in line for the refund). I bought a Schlage knob. It cost three times the price. I installed it in less than ten minutes. It works perfectly. Every time I open that door I will get more value from the purchase. Don't buy junk.

The holes to screw the door knob on, don't line up with the hole they're supposed to go into. It's been a really frustrating day. I had to make another $35 purchase to get another door knob. I was so aggravated from trying to install this, that I ordered another but, it didn't have a lock. So, onto my 3rd try, I'm still waiting for it to be delivered. I also had 2 other orders today, so alot of cash went out. I hope this isn't the same Brinks as the armored trucks. Cause, they should be ashamed of the quality of this product.
