I am very impressed with this Brinks deadbolt. It was relatively easy to install and was a perfect match for the hardware I was replacing, which made the whole process seamless. I brought this to replace my bedroom door knob and it fit perfectly nothing needed but to unscrew my old knob and replace with lock quick and easy would highly recommend

I recall it being delivered but as a senior I am frequent victim of theft and this is gone, stolen. Thieves moved but not far enough away. Police here protect felons and do character assasignations on seniors

This lock went into place almost by itself. There was NO difficulty in installation, the long screws that are so difficult to align were guided into place and it almost fell together. The lock is sturdy, well finished, and feels quite secure. My door doesn't budge, the fit is excellent. It has a solid feel to it. The packaging was beautiful, protective, and no wasted space. I'm buying Brinks lock replacements from now on.

This is a 'handsome' deadbolt - dark and moody. My door is a very light color, which makes the bolt really stand out. My only issue is that the key is rather difficult to turn, which is very detrimental for someone with arthritis in their hands. Other than that, I recommend this item!

separate assembly protection collar needs a tad more flexible wings. Will now have to widen front key assembly hole when everything else already fits ?

Only thing is the lock has been taken from box pieces everywhere and don't even know if screws are all there other than this the product is ok was disappointing to see it was in this shape as buying it new it should been new and pieces in plastic like

I ordered this thing four times two different ways from two different sources Walmart service center in mesquite and Forney course they sent me the wrong thing every single time this was originally ordered as a two-pack with key to like keys for each and then The four pack keyed Alike specifically so I have all four locks keyed the same I didn't want single cylinders keyed with four different keys. I went to the store yesterday and Walmart doesn't have this even though it's in their system as a two pack and as a four pack.
