Brinks Single Cylinder Deadbolt Lock, Polished Brass Finish

This lock went into place almost by itself. There was NO difficulty in installation, the long screws that are so difficult to align were guided into place and it almost fell together. The lock is sturdy, well finished, and feels quite secure. My door doesn't budge, the fit is excellent. It has a solid feel to it. The packaging was beautiful, protective, and no wasted space. I'm buying Brinks lock replacements from now on.

I recall it being delivered but as a senior I am frequent victim of theft and this is gone, stolen. Thieves moved but not far enough away. Police here protect felons and do character assasignations on seniors

I brought this to replace my bedroom door knob and it fit perfectly nothing needed but to unscrew my old knob and replace with lock quick and easy would highly recommend

replaced a deadbolt after 30 yrs. wow, what a difference in the ease of locking and unlocking. had a schlage 30 yrs and ALWAYS had issues with it. Brinks was a trusted name, great price, had someone exchange the old for the Brinks and couldn't be more satisfied. sleek and sturdy design. didnt match my fancy schlage perfectly but the price and ease of use as well as the superior protection for my home made up for this.

This is a good quality deadbolt lock, even the weight of it feels good. Installation was as simple as expected. Instructions were complete and thorough. The lock has a good sound to it when it locks. The only issue was that art first the key was little difficult to remove, had to wiggle it a little before it released. This problem seemed to go away after a few uses. I made 6 copies of the key at True Value, all work fine. This lock is definitely better than another brand I bought before this one and sent back for refund.

i like that it came in a intact box, the instructions were easy to read and follow, lets see how it holds up as an RV door deadbolt, fingers crossed 🤞

separate assembly protection collar needs a tad more flexible wings. Will now have to widen front key assembly hole when everything else already fits ?

I ordered this thing four times two different ways from two different sources Walmart service center in mesquite and Forney course they sent me the wrong thing every single time this was originally ordered as a two-pack with key to like keys for each and then The four pack keyed Alike specifically so I have all four locks keyed the same I didn't want single cylinders keyed with four different keys. I went to the store yesterday and Walmart doesn't have this even though it's in their system as a two pack and as a four pack.

I ordered a Matched Pair of deadbolts with same key. I got two deadbolt locks with different keys. I wish to return the locks and get my money back.
