I bought this to relieve zipper stress and keep my bag secure. I pack my carry on to avoid checking a bag and needed the additional reinforcement as peace of mind.

huge. nearly impossible to adjust. lock doesnt work unless its left on reset. cant even get it in the box to return it but back it still goes.

The product strap and locking mechanism looked good and assembled without too much difficulty, however upon being used for the FIRST TIME the plastic component consisting of the locking mechanism and combination aspect fell apart. One of the three locking prongs was missing and the remainder of the housing buckle was missing leaving the strap open and useless. Without the smaller strap the longer cross strap was not able to be well secured and therefore useless. This was certainly a waste of money and poor quality for a Brookstone product.
