Brother Genuine Black Printer Toner Cartridge, TN420

The ink lasts a long time, the quality is good, I really value this Brother Printer Ink! This is for my Brother HL 2280 DW Black and White Laser Printer. I have never had any trouble with the Genuine Brother Ink, I believe it is worth the extra amount, to purchase this quality toner! It is easy to change the ink myself, there is just a couple of steps, to follow. There are instructions included.

Because your prices alway beat out other companies, and it's all about saving money. I realize prices are going up because of tariffs and I appreciate your prices.

I am starting to like Walmart

This particular laser toner is required for my brother wireless printer. I checked several vendors and Wal-mart was the cheapest place to buy. I wish I had purchased the higher quantity for the savings.

The cost was right and the install was simple. Just remember this cartridge fits in a tray it's not a stand alone fit right in install. Since the is my first "Brother" laser printer perhaps they are all that way now. The HP and older IBM printers just install without fitting into a tray. But, it's easy and no smears be sure to roll back the green tab. (they do tell you that)

The cartridge itself is great, easy to install and good ink quality. The in-store price was $10 more than the online price and they don't match their own prices, even though you can buy online and pickup in the store. Silly policy. I purchased it online on my phone and waited 45 minutes for it to be "available" for pickup.

Unfortunately you have no choice if you ave a brother printer....you need this cartridge. I don't think it was was even close to printing the amount of pages it rates it at. I only print invoices, no graphics. It's my 2nd one this year. The online price is great from Walmart but like most printers, the companies make their money on ink!

Works fine for the first ~2000 prints, then leaks toner making the internals of the printer a mess and the prints nearly unreadable. I've had this same issue with three cartridges.

The box the TN-420 toner cartridge comes in includes a document with installation instructions for your printer. And including this link: http://www.brother./original/index.html for instructions on how to return the used toner cartridge to the Brother Collection program. I entered the link into my browser's search bar. On the page that opened, there was NO information on how to return a used toner cartridge or a link to it. "Oh, by the way," you could take the used cartridge to a store that sells the cartridge. My experience has been that the stores I purchased them from don't recycle them. Please discard the used toner cartridge in accordance with your local regulations, keeping it separate from domestic waste. Toner cartridges are not included in the list of items we can place in our recycling bin for pickup by a waste company once a week. Why aren't the manufacturers of plastic items responsible for recycling them? Why is the consumer responsible for attempting to recycle them? At present, 99% of the seafood we consume contains nanoplastics, and by 2050, there will be more plastic in the oceans than fish. Nanoplastics are in our food and water. We have nanoplastics in our brains about the same amount as in a plastic take-out food spoon. Oh, Brothers, Where Art Thou!

I bought this from Walmart and installed it in my printer. It was easy to install but I had this installed about a week and a half and my toner low light started blinking. I could not believe it as I really have not printed anything out that much so I ignored it. Well, three weeks later, you guessed it, I ran out of toner. I got a lot more use out of the toner cartridge that was in there when I bought it than I did with this new one. What going on Walmart, are you recycling toner cartridges thinking there is still plenty of toner in the returns? For the price I paid, there should have been a lot more toner in the cartridge than there was. If it had nothing to do with Walmart, then I apologize to Walmart and direct my disgust to Brothers printer products.
