Brother MFC-L2730DW Monochrome Laser All-in-One Wireless Printer with 2.7” Color Touchscreen

A really good buy. Love the touch screen. It actually does do duplex printing, the other reviewer does not know duplex printing is. It also does duplex scanning in the top feeder. I love the ID / Credit card option to print on one side of the page with the 2 on 1 feature. This is very handy!!! I have had a lot of printers, many very expensive ones... and this is the most well thought out one with a lot of features.

Came from 8710DW, which was a much more expensive all in one. This 2730DW is kinda like a little brother. Only difference I can see is the size, (this one is shorter than the 8710.) Other than a few buttons missing on the control panel, they're pretty much the same. I'm happy with this new one. You can get a cheaper version of this unit, but I need the ADF.

I am a university professor and work a lot on my research projects and teaching material from homw. Y work involves a lot of writing and printing. I am very satisfied with this printer. It is fast and has lots of functionality.I only recently discovered that /i can also send email from the machine directly to an email address (without using my computer). The live chat support is excellent. I think it shoiuld also be available on Saturdays. Also, there are several usable apps listed under apps on the screen. There should be some explanation of their usage.

I'm a graduate student in the social sciences so I print and read hundreds of pages a week. I had a smaller Brother printer that served me all throughout my undergraduate degree and is still working great and purchased this because I wanted to print more, faster. It's significantly larger than my previous printer, but that's to be expected given that it is a multifunction printer (also scans, etc). For a multifunction, the size is actually quite good. I haven't had any issues with the printing function, but if your WiFi signal is not great or is spotty, you may run into issues. I initially had this in my upstairs office, far from the router. My computer was right beside it and the internet worked fine, but the printer had some difficulty connecting on occasion, so I moved it to the other side of the room (closer to the router) and have had no issues since. The scanning function is easy and fast.

Small multifunction printer. Seems to be the updated MFCL2750. I do not see any difference. I really like the MFCL2750 and so far the MFCL2730 is great. Print is nice and sharp, Duplex Fax, Print and scan. Great small MFC.

I have owned this printer for 2 weeks. This printer works fine during the day, but, for some reason won't work at night. My owner manual says to contact Brother if I want to return it. I followed the links and ended up here..... well, I have a problem with this printer. I definitely do not recommend it.

I can't get this to work as a wireless printer. That's the only reason we bought this one and it was very expensive and it does not work as we needed it to. I sure wish Walmart would've given me my money back Our old printer was so simple and you could print from your cell phone. Very simple, easy wireless. This one does not work that way! Whatever you do, don't buy this printer!!!!! Our house was hit by a tornado and so we had to buy a new printer… Losing our very easy to use and connect to with our cell phones Canon printer. Because we were homeless, because of losing our house in the tornado, it took us a while to get this one put together and set up on the desk. By the time we got it set up and realized that it was not easy to connect to with our cell phones, Walmart would no longer refund our money and we were stuck with it. We hate this printer. It has never worked well for us. Now it's telling us that it is low on toner and it is printing just fine and it will refuse to print anymore until I put a new toner cartridge in it. We have used it very little since we got it in probably June and it's already out of toner. However, I just printed a packet of information and even the very last page was perfect even though it's been telling me for some time that it's low on toner. It's printing fine. Why can't it just keep going until it's actually out of ink.!! Did I mention that I hate this printer… Don't buy it! Brother, please give me my money back!

I purchased the Printer a few months ago new. I was unable to get the printer to connect by any methods listed in support, set up guides, the setup CD , nothing worked, only a USB to printer cable. Not even a LAN connection worked!!! The Support at Brother is non existent. No one from Brother ever answered my inquiry. The printer does print well, but considering that its supposed to allow you to Print Wireless form any device its a disappointment. I am running Windows 10 64 bit so you would think that I would be able to connect wireless or at least via LAN...but have to go Old school with a USB-Printer Cable. Biggest disappointment is Brother's support or lack there of.

I bought this printer a couple of months ago and needed to change the cartridge. Now it doesn't recognise a genuine Brother cartridge and won't work. Website is very unhelpful too!
