THIS MACHINE IS THE BEST THING EVER FOR ORGANIZING MY FILES! I AM USING THIS MACHINE TO LABEL EVERY FILE IN THE DRAWER, NOW I CAN SEE EVERYTHING AND IF ANYONE ELSE NEEDS TO FIND SOMETHING, IT WILL BE SO MUCH EASIER! HAVING MY FILES ORGANIZED WILL HELP WHEN IT IS TAX TIME, EVERYTHING WILL BE IN A LABELED FOLDER!
I just purchased this labeler and only used it once. Really not familar with all that it does, but I an certainly looking forward to it. I certainly like that using only batteries will turn it on, but it also uses a power cord to turn it on. I didnot purchase the power cord because I believe I already have one that will fit it-- hope so -- anyway (smile). Otherwise -- will only use the batteries. Anxious to see and LEARN the different fonts, symbols, etc., etc., that in it.
The formatting is much easier than the old one I had and has a lot of fonts to choose from. Great tool to have for labeling various items! Love it!
Operates very easily. Does require lots of AAA batteries. The adhesive label comes out with an easy to peel backing, eliminating a potential point of frustration. The different print size and fonts that can be selected are kind of fun. And, I bought on-line at Walmart.com, it arrived the next day. Pretty amazing, as I don't live in a large city.
The little Brother Label Maker is just the ticket for labeling. It has a QWERTY keyboard, a couple of fonts, upper and lowercase, wide and narrow text and even saves labels so you do not have to create them a second time… just call them up and ‘print!' It's also nice and quiet with no cord needed, so you can take it anywhere e.g. all over your shop or all over your house. It's footprint is small, so you don't need a big ol' table to set it on. Endlessly portable. I've used a variety of label makers over the decades, and this is a really nice one. If you don't have a label maker yet, get one of these. You'll be glad you did.
THIS WAS A GIFT PURCHASE. CANNOT GIVE A REVIEW
I love this Brother label maker. There's one at work so I decided to get this for home and it has made organizing so easy. I can find everything that I have stored in my containers! No more searching!!
very versatile, choice of fonts and print height.
Would have loved to use this label maker upon arrival, but I figured it would come with its plug so no need to get the batteries as they are "suggested" not "required. Please either send us the adapter (what product doesn't come with one🤷) or say "batteries required". At least give a us hint that it won't be usable upon arrival or tell us "You will either need AAA batteries or to purchase an AC Adapter to be able to use this unit upon arrival." I see I am not the only one with this issue.
This is a very complicated machine....I thought it would be a breeze...simple and straightforward. It is not. If you need labels, this machine will certainly do that. However, I think it will be a good long time before I am facile. The directions included are very sparse...making it quite clear that you will be learning to work this machine on your own. If you are a professional label maker, then get the P-touch 400 series. If you need to make a few labels, get something cheaper and easier to use.
