The scanner is very good. The duplex scanning saves time. The device is small and well designed. My main concern when I bought this device was reading that it couldn't be charged from the wall and had to be connected to a PC. After a bit of research and reading around I purchased a Sony CECHZA1 AC PS3 adapter which has 2 USB outlets. I can confirm that this adapter charges this scanner from the wall. It's not as convenient as just plugging a USB cable in to the wall but comes close. A bit frustrating I needed additional outlay to solve this problem but it works. I hope this info is of use to existing owners and other prospective buyers.
Fantastic scanner. I already have a scanner attached to a printer but I wanted to scan a box of old photos and needed something less cumbersome. This scanner is portable. So I have scanned all my photos directly to OneDrive whilst watching the TV. I now use the scanner to scan everything - documents, receipts, you name it! Why keep paper when you can scan. I love it!
Best price I found.
I've had this scanner for 3 days now.. scanner well over 200 receipts today with no problems! I find its quite intuitive, love the scan to micro SD feature. Have setup the wifi and found it easy as well. All round great product .. well built! I'll probably grab a second one for the office.
It's small and convenient and once you get it set up and familiarize yourself with it then you can get rid of all the paper clutter. I did have issues downloading and once it took it did take some time. I also did experience some receipt jamming because of the length of the paper.
The quality of this scanner is brilliant along with the two sided scanner it made digitising my old documents and photos a breeze. The interface is a bit data and using on iOS device leaves a little to be desired but at the end of the days it's functional and does want it is suppose to do.
A bit difficult to set up. Does not charge when connected to just USB. Need device to charge. Battery life his horrible. However for just a some scanner battery is not as important. Ensure you calibrate. Does the job
This is not exactly a review, this is a question I need. I purchased this and it works well, I do have a problem.... I got this scanner mainly to scan pictures (old and some a little thicker then todays prints.) As I put the pictures in they get stuck on the paper holder on the back part of the scanner and will not pushup and through. Is there a way to take the flap off or lay it down? I see in some of the advertisements the flap is not there
I enjoy the small footprint but the power cord is touchy as well as the actual operation of this scanner. I found myself very frustrated with the paper port feeding mechanism also. If there is a true need for this you can make it work but you shouldn't have to work so hard at scanning anything.
came with battery that needed changed, wouldn't connect with Chromebook and the Wi-Fi compressed the files to 200 or less dpi, which made them unusable for legal work. only option was a memory card which I wasn't able to try. brother has allot of work to do . this was a nightmare.
