Brother Wireless HL-L2465DW Compact Monochrome Multi-Function Laser Printer with Print, Copy and Scan, Duplex and Mobile Printing

Got fed up with my old HP printer and their nonsense aggressive subscription model, which will brick the device if you cancel. Ordered the Brother HL-L2465DW can it came the next day. It was incredibly easy to set up the device, especially since I used a USB cable, it was simply plug and play! Furthermore, it was easy to connect it to my wi-fi, and I could instantly print from my wireless devices, so additional setup or apps required, just select and print! I am also thrilled switching from a useless inkjet to a laser printer, since I do not need to print very often, so now no longer need to worry about the heads/ink drying out and needing to be replaced. I will absolutely never go back to HP, and unless something changes will use Brother for all my future printers. So so so Happy with this device! thanks!

It's the lower price and functionality that this printer got my attention. I set it up upon arrival and I got it up and running in no time. It's simple to set up. It only takes few minutes to have it set up and start printing. Thank you Walmart and thank you Brother for quality product!

Had an old printer that needed to go. Tired of needing color ink when I don't use color. This is perfect. It does everything I need and with the remote printing, wow, something I never had and love. When looking for a new printer, this brand was rated much better than the name brand I had and didn't want to buy again.

once connected to wifi, this connects to everything on the network. phones, tablets and laptops. printing is easy and fast. prints 2 sided. haven't used scanner too much as it can only do 1 sided, individual scans. it is black only laser printer. ideal for home office.

It's only a day old. I got the printer last night. It took me less than an hour to set it up. It will be while to write a proper review. The only thing that was wrong is that one of the components mentioned in the quick driver guide, i.e. toner cartridge replacement (MFC-L2820dwxl) is missing. I called Walmart customer service and asked them to send me the unit. They suggested to return the entire unit. I decided not to do it, simply it will be a hassle. However I want to warn you, the buyers, that it will not have the item which costs $28. Buyers beware!

My husband %26 I never were able to get the printer set up wirelessly. We paid the extra $30 for the Walmart tech service for someone to remotely set up the printer for us. After speaking to 6 people %26 having 3 or 4 people remote into my laptop it is not set up to print!!! FYI you call a number and speak to one person who takes you through a few steps, then they instruct you to wait until a remote tech connects to your computer to finish the set up. Note that you must sit at your computer watching for a pop up box (which takes between 5-15 minutes each time.... or they don't connect at all. I went through this 3 times.) They then end the call prior to the tech (with text only capabilities) connects to your computer. when the tech does connect, it like it's a robot. Not back and forth communication, ability to ask questions, etc. They simply disconnect without notice once they THINK they have the printer set up. Afte playing this game for many hours over THREE days, the printer will still not print wirelessly!! I left out the 2 phone calls we hade to make to our internet provider to reconfigure our bands because the printer will not print using a 5 Gigahertz band, only a 2.4. The printer will print WITH a printer cord. However, we specifically purchased a wireless printer. Unless you're a rocket scientist or a tech guru, I would NOT suggest purchasing this printer! Note, like most other things sold today, it does not come with a user manual or even a web address that take you to an online user manual. It may be a great printer if you can actually get it set up and learn hour to use it. I wouldn't know.

I usually don't leave negative reviews, but this whole experience was honestly exhausting. The product arrived late and looked completely different from what was shown online. Within just a few days, it started acting up and stopped working properly. The quality felt cheap, flimsy, and nowhere near what I expected for the price. I reached out to customer service hoping they'd fix things, but that turned out to be even worse. They took forever to reply, and every message felt like an automated response that didn't actually address my issue. I kept repeating the same details over and over, and after all that, they only gave a generic apology without offering a refund or replacement. It's frustrating when a company doesn't take responsibility for their products or their customers. I feel like I completely wasted my time and money, and I definitely wouldn't recommend buying from them again.

After one week of use, I have a door alarm failure. What a pain. The printer won't function because it thinks the door is open which it is not. The sensor must be failed.

We've had nothing but trouble trying to get this printer to work. I print from my Mac, my husband prints from Linex. Both computers initially were able to print a couple of times, then there were a host of error messages. " Printer rejecting print jobs, " Don't recognize printer," " No driver found" and on and on. We tried switching from wireless to USB. Still issues, went to Brother web site to get driver. Didn't even list model number, but checked Bothers data based and it suggested a driver. Downloaded that Computer doesn't recognize printer. Google says it's driverless. OK, but computers are searching for driver. Hooking this up should not be this hard. It's going back to Walmart.

Installation guide very sketchy. Installing it is a big ordeal in the hands of an expert. For those who don't want to use Wi-Fi the machine does not come with a cable to the computer and the instructions say you must buy a compatible cable! very disappointing to start with.
