It's a supplement that I take only because my endocrinologist wants me to. I've tried a couple of brands; they are all VERY large. So I buy the least expensive brand I can find, and this is it.

I usually buy Nutricost brand ALA but thought I'd try the Bulk Supplements brand—-while the price was comparable, I didn't like the odd taste/smell—-I'm assuming that the effectiveness is the same, but I've been taking the Bulk Supplements ALA for about a week, so that remains to be seen—-I'll use these capsules but will go back to the Nutricost brand

Price for this product is reasonable. Dosage information is somewhat confusing, however. Dosage recommends 2 tabs @ 600 mq when other suppliers recommend 200 mq. Max of 600 is normal. Delivery was prompt. Packaging was good.

I am a diabetic. this actually seems to help my neuropathy in my feet!
