BUNN VPR 12-Cup Commercial Coffee Brewer, 2 Warmers

Our office uses this coffee pot 12 hours a day. This is the only coffee pot that we order. We have had three of these coffee pots in the last 30 years.

When my old 12-cup Bunn finally quit working earlier this year, I "downgraded" to their 10-cup machine. After all, the old unit had served me for 30 years, and at my age I know I won't have another 30 years, lol! Well, I use a fine-ground Guatemalan coffee - and the grounds are so fine that they would overflow the basket because of the lower flow and smaller basket.... So, after about a month of trying to "game" the coffee pot to make it work without success, I went back to this 12-cup. Problem solved, and I'm once again a happy camper! I love the quick brew time the pre-heated water provides me, and it once again allows me to enjoy the rich, full flavor of my Guatamalan java!!! Yes, you DO pay more for the unit - but I'm confident that I'll never have to buy another! One tip - if at all possible, supply the unit with SOFT water - we built a new house in 2004, and installed a full-line water softener. For the next 21 YEARS, I never once had to descale the system!!

An excellent machine with simple setup instructions that doe not take up too much space. It is well built and I am certain it will last a long time. The only down side was the fairly high price.

Ordered this for our office, but was shipped without the carafe, I'm not sure if it was supposed to come with the machine but you would think it would.

Would be more worth the money if it had come with 2 coffee pots since it is a 2 warmer commercial coffee brewer. To purchase another for $20-$30 dollars a pot does not make a lot of sense. I would recommend to a friend, but advise that although it is a 2 warmer brewer, it does not come with the pots.
