Please don't ever stop making this! I was a fan of the old formula, and it was so thankful to see this one available again. It's simply the best!
Love this lip sunscreen! Has mineral sunscreen which is often hard to find. Goes on smoothly and doesn't turn your lips White unless you apply several layers. I have had sensitivity reactions to many lip products but not this one. I try to keep several tubes so I don't run out.
Highly recommended! I work in the commercial marine sector and this is the only product I use now. No more chapped lips, no more sunburn. Used over several snow trips as well. Did a lot of research to find a natural product that protects and this is it. Wish it was available in more retail stores.
There are very few products that I can safely use on my lips. Most products cause my lips to crack and peel. This product moisturizes and protects better than anything else I have used. I keep a tube in my pockets, in my purse, in my desk, and any other place I might need moisturizer for my lips.
I keep this All Weather Lip Balm with SPF in my purse for those sunny Indians games. Before I discovered this fantastic product, I would have suffered from sunburned & dried out lips....ick!! This stuff is great & stays on for a long time! Thanks Burts Bees!
Many people buy this and are surprised it leaves their lips white. Yes, that's the zinc, which is naturally white and is supposed to leave a residue! Zinc lip balm is for intense sun protection, not for looking pretty. Put it on when you ski, put it on during harsh winters, or deal with the reside and wear it all year round. The pros of zinc heavily outweigh the con of white reside.
Wow, I love this lip balm because it made my kind of chapped lips feel soft and smooth again! I love that its all weather and has spf 15 and is water resistant for 40 minutes, that means my kids can play in the pool for a while before they have to reapply! It has a nice clean scent to it as well (its not a strong scent). [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
Was smooth but seemed to dry my lips after wearing for short time. Had to be reapplied frequently. Good flavor and sun protection but carmex is a better deal.
When I initially began to use the lip balm, I LOVED it. It is super moisturizing and goes on your lips very smoothly. However, when my sister saw me later that day, she mentioned how white my lips looks. I look in the mirror and she was right! The lip balm did not absorb into my lips, but rather just stayed on top of my lips with a creamy white base. I do love how moisturizing the lip balm is, so I took the lip balm and melted it and mixed it with some left over lipstick to give the lip balm some color. I now use it everyday. I love the lip balm itself, just not the way it made my lips white. If this lip balm came in colors, I would be a huge fan! [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
This a nice balm and the color is a nice alternative to clear SPF balms. However, the taste and aroma are off putting.
