I made a lighting fixture for additional light in my laundry/craft area and only wanted it on when I needed the extra light. This made it easy to accomplish without paying an electrician to install a separate receptacle or having to plug it in each time, all it takes is a click and I have the extra light needed in a relatively dark basement area.

i use it on my toaster because i have had toaster fires. in stead of unplugging it ;you hit the button to turn in off.

Perfect for what I needed it for. Using an appliance that should be unplugged between uses…This allows for cutting the power very quickly and easy to turn back on.

great .l easier to toggle the switch than pull the plug out of the wall. Leave that appliance plugged in but switched off , so it doesn't sit there idol and draw electricity.

These may turning off and on my Christmas lights and Christmas tree so much easier than having to plug in the cord each time! Great product.
