This was used to add a lzamkr 1 tb hard drive to my pc. They work just fine just the right length for the newer pcs as it plugs into the board on one side and goes through a hole to the hard drive bay on the other side with out to much slack. So it tucks in there just fine.
These SATA cables worked as expected. No problems. These are now less of a mainstream component so it's nice to see them readily available.
good price fast ship
These SATA data cables are a good economical purchase. The 18 inch length is sufficiently long enough for use in computer towers. This is an important consideration especially when they are to be used for additional hard disks or optical drives that are placed, not in the primary drive bays, but in secondary drive bays. When purchasing SATA data cables one is confronted with a choice. One can either choose cables with a straight latch or a 90 degree latch. Straight latch cables, such as these, are usually less expensive than the right angle latch cables. In my particular situation either a straight latch cable or a right angle latch cable could be used. But there can be situations where a right angle latch cable would be more convenient. For use in a tower computer, my situation, the straight latch cable works as well as a right angle latch cable. But for more cramped situations such a s small form factor case one needs to choose between a straight latch and a right angle latch carefully. Paying a little bit more for a right angle latch under such circumstances might be a better choice. So 4 stars instead of 5.
it works and stuff it can read the hdd fine kinda hard to plug in because of the metal clips but its mid range
The cables technically worked for the use case I bought them for. But the cords seemed extremely stiff and were difficult to get into place. One of the connection release tabs refused to click in place so that connection is not secure but it is working. I went back and forth on whether to recommend but decided not to because of the release tab issue. Otherwise I would have said yes.
