Good product
My job requires a hard wired connection instead of WIFI. This functions perfectly to connect my work laptop. Transmits data with excellent upload/download speeds. Fast delivery and very reasonably priced.

The Ethernet to usb connector is working. Connected it to a Surface 3. The connector came a couple of days after the original stated delivery date.

Wrong photo, different chipset
The photo clearly shows the old version which included an ASIX AX88179 chipset and had great Linux support. The new version contains a Realtek/RTL8153 (version 0x5C30) that isn't supported until Linux kernel version 4.3. If you need to run on a Linux kernel older than version 4.3 then this is not the adapter for you.
