Calgon Water Softener Laundry Detergent Booster, 32 oz

I got this Calgon laundry softener because I live in the desert and this water is just so hard. I can go to the laundromat where they have built-in water softeners and you get great results but very very expensive. This is a booster that you add to your laundry. Be sure to read the instructions and follow the directions. I'm a senior on a fixed income, so I'm very budgeted and I have to watch everything I purchase to be sure it fits in my budget I live in a tiny home and I have a small portable washer for clothes and a portable dryer. This washer takes care of almost all of my clothes. The only time I have to go outside of my home to wash would be if I'm doing blankets and large items. This saves me an incredible amount of money . For a while, I was using a cap or two full of vinegar and I found that really really helped and now this Calgon water softener is a blessing. It really makes a difference. It makes it affordable for me to keep washing my clothes.

If you live in Florida or any other state, that has a high hard water content, you need this product!!! When I washed my clothes for the first time in Florida without Calgon, the fabric of my clothes completely changed too hard and very scratchy. Also, the color of my white clothes, started to change to a mild yellow color. I did some research and found this product to be very helpful for areas that have hard water. I will not do laundry without this product ever again.

I very recently received my order and have not used it yet so I cannot speak of the quality but it appears to be exactly the right product. The price was OK.

This is amazing! I have hard water and it is orange most of the time! Calgon keeps my whites “white” and my colors crisp and clean. No more dull whites or colors! Thank goodness I've found calgon!

I buy this all the time to add with my laundry since we have hard water. It cleans the clothes and can reduce the amount of soap you need to use by half. I use it for washing windows and in the shower for cleaning. Try it for yourself.

I remembered Calgon commercials from childhood, and decided to try it to improve whiteness and softness in our laundry. Very pleased with the results, especially after a couple of washings, so will most likely buy it regularly now.

first it was delivered on time. it will not be used for as stated on the bottle. it will be used in both rv holding tanks. 1 cut in a gallon of warm water in each, follow by sever gallons of warm water. leave for 24 hours. then fill tank to full. lit sit for 24 hours. drain black than then gray tank. your ready for next camping trip.

I've been using calgon for several years now, I started using calgon because of the build-up of hard water in my clothes. I suffer with several allergies and the build-up affected my health. Once I started using calgon I can wear my clothes much longer without replacing them. I still need to replace my bath towels and dish towels every year because they are constantly in water which causes faster hard water build-up. I also do my dishes by hand, so my dishes would get hard water build-up on those also, so I started putting calgon in my hot soapy water (just a tablespoon or small amount go a long way) within moments to minutes you can actually see the hard water scum coming off the dishes and sink settling to the bottom of dish, glasses, or the sink it's self. The longer you soak it the more comes off! I generally soak over night. Even in my new home after cleaning my stainless steel sinks cleaned with stainless steel cleaner I will use calgon to soak them and I'm still amazed at how much hard water still comes off the sinks overnight! Your dishes will look like new again! Sparkling and clear! I use this with all my clothes, not just whites. This calgon goes a long way , I use about a half of cap full for every load, I generally use the empty bottles that have dried calgon on outside of bottle for my sinks, I just put it in with the dishes. Be careful though because the dried calgon is like glass, it will cut you!! So just be careful wiping any dried up calgon off! Use a wet cloth and be careful! Love, Love, Love CALGON!!!

I Use with every load. Softens hard water and prevent mineral water spots. Can use with all fabrics. Easy to add to washer. Container cap is measuring cup. No fragrance can be used with sensitive skin. It does not cause irritation, itching or rashes. Helps to prevent hard water scale in washer.

While I had bought this product, in the same quantity once before, it was shipped in a box (4 bottles) This time, someone just threw the 4 bottles in a bag - and guess what - during shipping, one of the caps came loose, and the contents spilled out in the shipping bag. So I paid for 4 and really only got 3 - and a big mess! Will NEVER order this product again from here!! If I could give '0' stars, I would Trying to be cheap should only go so far.. S. D.
