Calgon Water Softener Laundry Detergent Booster, 32 oz

This has been a life saver for our laundry! I had to buy a new washer due to the hard water destroying my older washer. After the first run in the new washer I already had bad build up. I tried so many different things and every wash it got worse. Within 2 weeks of owning and using the new washer, it's started having issues. Did some research and asked around, and Calgon was suggested. I bought it but wasn't expecting much. After just one load, a lot of the build up had disappeared. It's looking much better and my clothes are looking and feeling better. Pictures show new washer before and after first Calgon load.

If you live in Florida or any other state, that has a high hard water content, you need this product!!! When I washed my clothes for the first time in Florida without Calgon, the fabric of my clothes completely changed too hard and very scratchy. Also, the color of my white clothes, started to change to a mild yellow color. I did some research and found this product to be very helpful for areas that have hard water. I will not do laundry without this product ever again.

I've been using this product for about 2 yrs . If you have hard water it does help with the white . It doesn't stop the discoloration in the long term but it has helped to slow it down. Only product I've found

I didn't know my white clothes could be so much whiter than they were.I use Calgon as often as I can it is a little expensive for such a small bottle but it works wonders! our laundry looks really really good and white work shirts come out crisp and clean. This is probably the way hotels keep their white towels so beautifully white, my white towels look awesome. it is also good for getting heavy dirt and stains out of your color clothes, just add it to your detergent and it helps your detergent do what it supposed to do

I've been using calgon for several years now, I started using calgon because of the build-up of hard water in my clothes. I suffer with several allergies and the build-up affected my health. Once I started using calgon I can wear my clothes much longer without replacing them. I still need to replace my bath towels and dish towels every year because they are constantly in water which causes faster hard water build-up. I also do my dishes by hand, so my dishes would get hard water build-up on those also, so I started putting calgon in my hot soapy water (just a tablespoon or small amount go a long way) within moments to minutes you can actually see the hard water scum coming off the dishes and sink settling to the bottom of dish, glasses, or the sink it's self. The longer you soak it the more comes off! I generally soak over night. Even in my new home after cleaning my stainless steel sinks cleaned with stainless steel cleaner I will use calgon to soak them and I'm still amazed at how much hard water still comes off the sinks overnight! Your dishes will look like new again! Sparkling and clear! I use this with all my clothes, not just whites. This calgon goes a long way , I use about a half of cap full for every load, I generally use the empty bottles that have dried calgon on outside of bottle for my sinks, I just put it in with the dishes. Be careful though because the dried calgon is like glass, it will cut you!! So just be careful wiping any dried up calgon off! Use a wet cloth and be careful! Love, Love, Love CALGON!!!

The water in my town is hard. I have used this product for years especially in my jet tub. It prevents that scum line from forming. I am very happy that I can obtain this item in bulk from Walmart on line and it gets shipped to me -- how convenient. It is not an easy product to find. And the value is excellent.

My water softener went out about a year ago. I have chosen not to replace it. I use this softener for clothes. It works great. Unless clothes are really dirty, bleach and additives are not needed. A bottle once a month beats a bill for a water softener anytime for me. We purchase drinking water so this is great for our laundry.

We moved to an area with hard hard water... we cloth diaper so have not used traditional dryer sheets and our clothes were just not as soft and my cloth diapers were becoming harder to get clean. A friend mentioned to me that Calgon can be used with cloth diapers to help get them cleaner. So I bought this through walmart.com and LOVE it!! Our clothes are NOTICEABLE softer out of the dryer and are diapers are too!

So far I haven't noticed a difference with my laundry. Deducted one star due packaging. I'm just glad they both didn't leak, only one came with a seal.

Fast ship, good price. Poorly packed. 1 bottle had anti leak tape. 5 bottles had none. Leaked all over in a sticky mess. All bottles were crushed. Sloppy packing.
