California Olive Ranch Medium Cold Pressed 100% California Extra Virgin Olive Oil 33.8 fl oz

The only extra virgin olive oil I buy, at the best price I found anywhere, in store or online! I believe it's been the exact same price for going on three years, possibly the only item I bought for the past three years that has not gone up in price or down in package size! One of the few extra-virgin olive oil's tested at UC Berkeley that actually was 100% Virgin olive oil!

The olive oil is great and Walmart offers it at a great price. However, Walmart does a TERRIBLE job of packaging the oil for shipping. They "pack" it in a box that is over 2 times the size needed. They DO put each bottle in a ziplock baggie, wrap each bottle with very thin perforated paper, place them side by side in a too large box with nothing to hold them in place, then throw in a strip of those little air pillows. The bottles are just loose in a big box, able to shift around and break, which at least 1 bottle ALWAYS does. Then Walmart gives you the runaround for 3 weeks, consisting of promises that they'll refund your money, telling you to wait 10 business days to receive an email, and then sending you an email stating you've violated return policy. I love this olive oil, and will probably order it from Walmart again. But I am always nervous that they will repeat the poor packaging job, allowing the bottles to break, then give me the runaround for 3 weeks and accuse me of fraud, when all I expect is to get the items I PAID for (in usable condition, unbroken, in a box that is not full of broken glass and oil, which seeped all over my front deck and is impossible to remove.)

Love this olive oil - the taste and the fact that it's produced in America. BUT BESIDE ALL THAT..... I want to tell you how impressed I was with the PACKAGING of this item. Olive oil lasts longest in glass containers. Whoever wrapped this bottle showed such care in making sure it would not break. I appreciate that. It was impressive. Thanks again!

Great tasting olive oil! I use this for salads, roasted crispy cauliflower, broccoli, caramelizing meat, or anything you might directly taste the oil. I use a lesser priced olive oil for occasional frying or baking. I appreciate the bottle being GLASS %26 dark. I buy a small bottle %26 refill with this large one. It's a great quality oil.

This is a great olive oil especially for finishing %26 for salads. It is actually the first one I've ever tried that is not overpowering %26 I actually enjoy the taste of it on my salad. I will be using it mostly for that purpose because it tastes so good!

I look for 100% single olive location instead of olives from many locations. This is my go to for cooking olive oil and for salads. I want to stock up when they have it in stock… it's one of those if you see it you better grab it because it may be another year before you see it again.

I have been using California E.V.O. for a few years (5) now. Research shows this brand as one of the best quality oils on the market. Be careful which ones you choose. Some are not what they claim to be (questionable quality). Research,research,research!

I think this is some good olive oil but I don't know how much polyphenols are in the olive oil. Polyphenols are important to our health. The more the better we receive nutrition which is vital to our health. The olive oil tastes great I would love to know the poly phenol levels.

The only reason I didn't give this olive oil 5 stars is because I don't know how long it has been from bottling to my kitchen. I buy 100% California Olive Oil because I know it didn't take months after bottling to get here to the US from another country or continent. Olive Oil loses its potency and flavor the longer it is bottled.

This Olive Oil is an excellent product. The only problem I have is with the way it is shipped. The packaging is poor. I ordered 4 bottles and when it arrived all 4 bottles were broken. Most recently I ordered again 4 bottles and 1 bottle was broken. The shipping carrier repackaged the 3 remaining bottles which I received.
