Surprised that it actually worked as well as it did. Very simply to set up. I did have to rotate one of the valve switches which required removing the screw but that took maybe 3 seconds.
For the past 3 years, I have taken my boat to get it winterized at the boat shop for almost $200. I decided to get this kit and do it myself this year. For the price of this, plus some antifreeze and fogging oil, I was able to do it for less than $70. Next year, I can do it for just about $35. Definitely worth it. It really only took me about an hour to winterize it.
First time ever winterizing a boat, but, following the directions, it flowed smoothly.
Awesome piece of equipment. Don't think anyone should go without it.
This item does the job of replacing the water in the block of your boat with antifreeze.
Works exactly as it is supposed to... with a few minor issues. The hose was super stuff and did not want to uncoil well - I wedged it behind the trim cylinders so it worked but it was awkward. Also, I didn't have great access to the earmuffs are after so I had to put the connection on there first, which meant I had to figure out a way to fill the jug and screw on both the lid and the hose into it after it was full - the bottom connection had rotating collars, it would be nice to have one more at the lid.
The thing worked good it just broke at the splitter the first time I used it. but it was cheaper then anywhere else I've looked for one
Got the order fast but when got it went to put it together and the jugs lid threads was all stripped out..
Antifreeze leaks from the cap. Gasket is in and seated properly.
Tank is too small
