Reliable 30A Plug That Just Works
I bought this to replace an old 30A plug on my RV cord, and I'm really glad I did. The old one was starting to feel loose and sketchy, so I wanted something solid and easy to work with. Installation was pretty simple. The screws and terminals are laid out in a way that makes sense, and the housing feels sturdy once everything is tightened down. I'm not an electrician, but I was able to get it wired up and back in service without any drama. The handle on the back is a nice touch. It makes it a lot easier to plug in and unplug without yanking on the cord itself, especially when the outlet is in a tight spot. Once it's plugged in, it feels secure and doesn't wiggle around. Great replacement plug.
Easy to attach to the power cable, connects firmly to cabld. Handle is nice to have, but I have seen more ergonomic ones.

Ordered this to repair a damaged original however I should have looked at the measurements closer because it is not the same size as our original and doesn't fit back in the hole like the original. It was easy to replace but again make sure you check the measurements closely.

awesome plug
Do not order this if you have a round storage cover on your trailer where the cord comes out as the plug will not fit in the unit. The wires are very hard to attach to this plug.
