Camco Self-Stor Step - Mounts Under RV Steps to Stabilize Steps and Prevent RV Movement and Swaying, Lifts Up For Easy Storage After Use , One Time Installation (43671)

For steps' stability, you will need to order two of these; one for each side of the step. Don't use just one in the middle of the step as it will cause your steps to wobble when going up and down them.

I already had one on the left side of my steps and decided when I saw the price here I wanted to put one on the right side. Now it doesn't matter where you step or how much you weigh, my steps aren't going to give and possibly warp.

Used two of these on my travel trailer steps. Although, at some campgrounds depending on how you have to level out your trailer, the step jacks will be too long or too allow the steps to fold down. Other than that, they solved the problems of shaking the trailer when using the steps.

I installed two on the bottom step of a Lippert double step. Work VERY well. Other reviews complain about the legs swinging up, but I haven't experienced that. They are height adjustable, so as long as you extend them far enough there should be no way they can move. also, gravity should keep them down (they are not spring loaded). My only complaint is it can take quite a while to adjust the height, so extends the time it takes to load the steps back up and go.

Inexpensive with an easy installation = great return for effort. I was able to bolt them on using existing holes in steps. When you deploy steps, they adjust for proper support, even when ground is not level. When not in use, they fold up and snap into the holder. Very simple and easy to use, that's what we like in RV accessories.

Works fine. No hardware or instructions included.

Does what it's suppose to do. Keeps the camper steady even when someone's on the stairs. Easy to install. Only complaint is that you have to be carefully of where to install on the step to make sure there is clearance for the the holding clamp. Had to move it and now have 2 holes in the stair that were unnecessary.

These are a "permanent" mount for retrackable RV stairs. I did not install as the weight of item created great concern when stowed to travel. I believe they would cause step to falter. They will have to be returned. IF you do install these and take them off before travel they might be a good bet. The offset also is concerning.

Wish it was larger by time you install it so it folds while traveling not where needs to be when using step tried 2 different ways. But better than without.

I ordered this item on line and arrived in a timely manner. But when I installed the item on the step following the somewhat instructions that came with it by drilling holes in my step when we stepped on the center step that step would raise up just enough to let the leg swing out and not hold up the step! Returned to walmart but now I have holes in my step I don't need. There needs to be away to keep the leg from swinging.
