Easy to setup. Provides much more stability to the steps. The steps no long flex downward when weight is applied. I can easily see how this brace would extend the life of the steps.

I have an older RV trailer so the steps are not secure. Instead of blocks, this “Sav-a-Step” is sturdy and adjustable. Works perfect!

We used 2 of these to stabilize the bottom step and they work great. They are adjustable to fit almost any terrain and have a large base providing a solid support.

Measure twice order once. Good quality, good price.

Just what I was looking for.

I am a huge tinkerer. But have yet to come up with anything better, cheaper or less space wasting than these. I'm a heavy guy and steps for my camper are 250.00 at the cheapest. This will keep them from failing do to overweight.

Simple device: twist up or down to make it shorter or taller. I bought two per set of stairs for added stability. I thought about attaching them to the step, but will wait to see if we stay places that are so unlevel that there isn't 4-5/8" between the ground and the bottom of the step, so this device wouldn't fit.

Used the Sav-A-Step this past weekend. Does what I wanted it to. I ended up cutting 3-2x6 scraps about 8" long to put under the Sav-A-Step to keep it off the ground and add a more stable base. Extend the Sav-A-Step until it just makes contact with the bottom of the step and you're good to go! Only needed a single brace in the middle of the step as my main concern was how my daughter practically jumps out of the camper onto the step...worried that she would eventually rip out the screws that attach the step to the bottom of the camper. No more worries and I don't have to constantly fuss at her to slow down, etc....

It's a lot smaller than i thought it was going to be but it does the job. Works well on level surfaces. For un-level lots I sometimes have to put a block of wood under it to get a little extra height. You may want to consider also buying the next size up if you don't want to block it up. But it definitely helps reducing fatigue on the steps. I'd buy it again if i had to.

It seems like a quality item. Unfortunately it doesn't fit my rv steps. It is adjustable but at it's smallest height, it's still a bit too big. I'd recommend getting an accurate measurements to insure appropriate fit.
