Just a broken product being pushed by walmart.
Valves didn't stop the flow of water after being run through the Camco pressure regulator which decreases the pressure, so over pressurization was not the problem, it was a faulty part.

Leave the plastic off!
I bought brass and it is as it should be! But they make the controls in plastic. So eventually,they will snap off and that rally annoys me . Make it all brass.
