Good design for a 1.5 liter capacity hydration system for biking. Chest straps are mesh so cool, and there is one smallish pocket on the back. This does not have a lot of capacity if the water bladder is full, but good for a day hike. The clip in front keeps the hose from flying around. The cross chest strap is thin and a bit short for a big chested guy. Otherwise great design.
We originally got this for my husband to use while riding his bike, and it has been so useful in the Florida heat. He goes on longer rides, and having water right there in a hydration pack is so much more convenient than trying to carry a water bottle. The pack is lightweight and doesn't feel like he's carrying a bulky backpack, which is especially important when you're already sweating and trying to stay comfortable. The hydration hose makes it easy to drink while riding without having to stop and dig around for a bottle. He's gotten a lot of use out of it, especially during those ridiculously hot Florida rides. It holds enough water for his rides without being unnecessarily large or heavy. Definitely a worthwhile purchase for anyone who bikes, hikes, or spends a lot of time outdoors in the heat.
Camelbak is a tried and true leader in hydration packs. I have tried several different cheap ones and they are all terrible and I mean terrible. Nothing has ever worked better or held up better than Camelbak. It is DEFINITELY worth the price- I have tried and tested and hoped for a cheaper alternative- but the price is worth it! I'm tellin ya!
Good quality
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] Small and lightweight, even when filled. You can switch which side the hose comes home, and it has 2 zipper pockets for holding belongings. It was comfortable to wear and easy to use. Very well made and leak-proof.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] I love the size of this and it hold a good amount of water in it and the best part is it's leak proof! The back padding makes it really comfortable to wear. It fits good and love it when I go on runs or hiking.
[This review was collected as part of a promotion.] The size of the camelback was perfect for my teenage son to use for sport practices. Light weight and comfortable since it wasn't heavy when filled. Other small items fit in the bag. The cap to the reservoir screwed on for a leak free run.
The straps on this are very thin. The water reservoir is difficult to get into the pocket when it has water in it. It works, but there are definitely better versions of this available.
The straps are flimsy, the tube is too short and the pack is uncomfortable.
Leaks after five minutes of use.
