Camp Chef Cast Iron Reversible Griddle and Grill Cook Top, 14x16, CGG16B

My husband is in grill heaven. The new trend is the griddle grills which all our friends are using to make meals more interesting with the family. We already have 4 different types of grills but found this griddle/grill piece and love it. We have grilled cheaper cuts of meat and using the cast iron side the meat is WONDERFUL. I was missing going out to restaurants but not any more. Last weekend we used the griddle side and made pancakes, eggs, bacon and tubed cinnamon rolls, (smash the cinnamon roll like pancake) . So much fun. Cheaper then buying griddle grill if you can even find one right now! Best purchase this year!

This works perfectly for us! We can fit 4 burgers on the griddle no problem. It cooks well and cleans up nice. This has made our camp stove multi-purpose by allowing us to grill.

Very heavy griddle, be careful when handling. Have not had a chance to use them yet, but very sure they will perform well without a doubt. The more the cast is used the better they get. quick delivery as usual

We bought this Griddle for our camping trips and it worked fantastic - The Cast iron is so thick that it sears a steak very quicly and locks in all the flavor. We enjoyed it so much we use it on our Bar-b-que at home to cook steaks and turn it over for Sunday Breakfast.

This is an indispensable tool for cooking for many. I used this to cook gyros for 200 folks with great success. Heat dispersed well, and it stays hot for radiant heat and continuity. It gets hot so plan to sweat! If you cooking. A grease trap is offered as an accessory but should be standard. Grease will flow out and all over the leg of the stove/floor. Placed a cup in the provided hanging holder but the cup melted quickly. Also, a carrying bag should be standard.

There's not much to say about the griddle, in the end it's a piece of metal that does what it's supposed to do. It's easy to clean and maintain, the bacon and other food you cook come out very nicely cooked. The only reason why it gets 4 stars it's mainly due to the fact that there are parts where it's hotter than others and it might cook things unevenly if you don't know where these are. Overall, a good purchase that will last for years.

I have had this griddle for a week and have tried to grill steak and chicken with it. It works great thanks to the cast iron mass and the 40,000 btu burner. Steak sears very well. Though I have not used it for pancakes, eggs, sausages or any other recipes, I have no doubt it would do the job with flying color. I have a feeling that if I use it indoor with the kitchen range the end result is likely not as satisfactory due to the range unable to produce the necessary heat to sear steaks. It probably would fry eggs and pancakes but would not be hot enough to properly grill steak or chicken breast.

Bought the new style sidekick and really do not like it at all burnt everything cannot control temp so got griddle to use on sidekick and it is a little better able to control heat but not near as good as old sidekick.

Way too heavy. Doesn't cook evenly. Everything sticks too it. Soap wasn't available for purchase. Cast iron pan works better
