I picked this up to transport eggs while traveling between job sites, and it's been a great little solution. When you're on the road a lot like I am, having something sturdy to protect your food just makes life easier—and this egg holder does exactly that. It keeps everything secure, and I haven't had to deal with any cracked eggs since using it. The hard plastic construction feels tough and durable, and it holds eggs firmly in place during transport. The built-in handle is a nice touch, making it easy to carry along with the rest of my gear. I can also see this being perfect for camping trips, picnics, or even carrying hardboiled eggs without worrying about them getting smashed. Overall, the pros are clear: it's lightweight but strong, protects eggs well, easy to carry, and versatile for travel or outdoor use. It's also dishwasher safe, which makes cleanup simple. The only downside is that it's a bit bulky compared to a carton, so it takes up more space—but that's the trade-off for solid protection.
I'm sick of worrying about cardboard egg cartons in my cooler. The factory cardboard packing dissolves, when it gets wet from the ice. This will solve the problem. I would recommend LARGE or X Large eggs, because anything less will still fit loosely. I'm going to use it for glamping (large coolers), and if I go backpacking, I'll use it for hard boiled eggs. I'm on a high protein low carb diet, so eggs will be the perfect snack!
This is an excellent product for transporting my eggs to work for breakfast! They are never broken and it's a compact and convenient way to carry them in my thermal lunch bag.
So convenient for road trips. Takes up so little room %26 does the job.
A friend recommended this and I broke down and bought it before our first RV camping trip. Luckily I had it!! The bad fell and not a single egg broke! Definitely worth the few dollars!
This Egg Holder works well for the 'frig, too.
Cheap, does it's job, pretty basic container, but very useful
The quality of the product is great
I like these for regular use. They take up less space in the fridge than a carton, and are more secure. Kinda driving me nuts that stores aren't carrying nearly as much in the physical store as they used to but with a WM membership, I usually get everything in three days delivered to my post office which is fairly close, so I can't really complain.
Seems pretty straight forward. But no, the little prongs on the inside smashed right through the ends of our eggs. I don't think our eggs are abnormally large eggs, but this is best suited for smaller sized eggs. I will try cutting the egg-piercing prongs out and see if it'll keep our eggs INTACT for our next camping experience. What a surprise to open it and find the eggs uniformly punctured with egg goo inside. Half the dozen were intact, so I left it at three stars, the smaller eggs.
