Coghlan's Telescoping Roasting Fork Extendable Chrome-Plated Steel 12.5 to 34 Inch

These worked great with marshmallows over our fire pit. They don't look very long when you open the package. but you turn the handle to lenghten them. Nothing like smores to liven up a gathering!

I bought 2 - they telescope to about 3' but reduce to less than 12" making them much easier to clean & store than the usual long utensils. The metal is strong enough for wieners as well as marshmallows.

I love these camping fork's, they are the perfect size and length, very sturdy too. We used these on our last camping trip and cooked sausages for dinner and of course marshmallows for dessert, and I did not worry about the kids holding them because of the good length. I will say to wash them good after you roast marshmallows as they did stick quite a bit to the fork.

They open to a long fork for the fire, but close to fit into the dishwasher or a drawer. The thumb turn feature is a nice touch too. We have only used them for marshmallows, but they seem sturdier than the ones I paid double for at the grocery store. Great item for the price!

These are an interesting concept and easy to store when they're pulled back to the shortest length. They pull out and telescope to an appropriate campfire length. The metal isn't as sturdy as I'd hoped but fine for lighter items, maybe 2 hot dogs or they might bend and then you wouldn't be able to telescope them back down. I suspect the red plastic thumb wheel turner might melt if it gets too close to the heat. You do need to keep your thumb on the wheel or the metal fork spins around freely. You can use the thumb wheel to turn what you're roasting, which is a nice idea.
