Item is exactly as advertised. It is well made and arrived in perfect condition. The item was very easy to prepare for use, following the included instructions. I've used it several times and it works great. This is a good addition to anyone's camping gear.

Have been using this type of thing for decades. And at my house, we had some Coleman brand aluminum ones, those were good and they were nice because they were lightweight, but buying these was such a major upgrade to move to cast iron after getting them preheated, they cook very uniformly, giving a more golden finish on the sandwich with less chance of burning. I\nAlso appreciated the small side of they put some notches on the handles to help keep the clips that hold it shut from sliding towards the hot fire end on my cheaper older ones that was a problem when the clip would slide near the fire , then slide back near your hand no problem with that on this model.

Handy gadget for campfire cooking! . My husband has wanted one of these ever since his friend had one at his hunting camp. . So I ordered him this Coglan's single cast iron camp cooker. . We used it this weekend on our camping trip. . Made the best grilled ham and cheese sandwiches🥰. They were really good and toasted. . The cooker works great, it is heavy cast iron, has wooden handles to help protect hands from burns and is really easy to use. . It is like many new gadgets, will take us a little practice to perfect our technic on using it. .He did burn a few before getting the hang of it! .. Lol . I am Excited to come up with new recipe ideas for this little cooker for our next camping trip. . This is a cool item that is a unique gift idea for any outdoor person. . Or those that love backyard campfires!
