Coghlan's Single Cast Iron Cooker

Very high quality made mountain pie maker. Love using these all summer long and makes sitting around the campfire even better. Season this and keep seasoned and will last along time. Easy clean

Have been using this type of thing for decades. And at my house, we had some Coleman brand aluminum ones, those were good and they were nice because they were lightweight, but buying these was such a major upgrade to move to cast iron after getting them preheated, they cook very uniformly, giving a more golden finish on the sandwich with less chance of burning. I\nAlso appreciated the small side of they put some notches on the handles to help keep the clips that hold it shut from sliding towards the hot fire end on my cheaper older ones that was a problem when the clip would slide near the fire , then slide back near your hand no problem with that on this model.

This shattered after the first use which is not supposed to happen to cast iron.
