The long handle means it is not hot to handle after cooking on the grill. The whole fish was cooked perfectly. Great price and product.

Great quality and good size.

We bought both of these type of camp fire/pit cookers. This has a shorter handle than the skinny cooker. This is the only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars. The shorter handle makes it at times uncomfortable to hold over the fire. I did adjust the slide lock with some pliers to tighten it up and stop it from sliding back and unlocking it accidentally.

I love it except food flew out onto the ground a few times when I was opening it to get the food out. Used on open cAmpfire and held up well . handle extends out securely but just be careful that you have it flipped correctly and not upside down. there is only a small ring that holds it all together . be careful when to load that you have the handle fullt extended cuz food can interfere if you try to pull it out when you are ready to roast. you can put anything in there so it's very versatile and held up well.

"False advertising. Says large cooking area. Its actually 3 small sections. Barely big enough for a steak or 2 burgers in each section. I needed a ""large cooking area"" for grilling a whole fish. No regular fish can fit in the 3 partitions whole."

Rusted immediately. Washed and dried very carefully but still very rusty next day.
