One of my favorite Campbell soups
When Money is Tight as it is for so many right now we could all do each other a service by sharing meal ideas even when money is in short supply. Buying Campbell's Chunky Soups is never a mistake. Just look for the multiple can deals at a fraction of the single can cost. Buy Side Pasta Dish Packets the same way or you can just buy your favorite style of noodles. dump the noodles in a microwaveable bowl cover the noodles with water but don't fill the bowl. Pour the Campbell's Chunky Soup on top of the noodles and microwave for 20 minutes. Its very quick, easy, and cost about $3 - $4. Another Tip You can add vegetables, different spices, mushrooms, cheeses, or sauces. You can also skip the noodles and replace it with Side Dish or quick rice.
Campbell's Chunky Soup. Old Fashioned Vegetable Beef. Very good! Thanks for your delivery!
Excellent soup. Very tasty. Goes well when paired with crackers or bread for a meal. lots of vegetables and the producer does not skimp on the beef.
This is by far the best canned beef veggie soup, and Walmart's great price an delivery makes this purchase even better.
Ordered with many Cans of Soup and 2 bags of chips. Packing was haphazard resulting in one chips bag crushed, and many of the Ritz crackrs "edged" grushed. Package was too heavy for the delivery guy, bursting the containers packing tape. The box was left just shy of my porch steps (5 steps) on the driveway. I had to open the box on the driveway and 3 trips with a cart to bring the products into the house (I am 74).
The soup is just fine but the shipping/packaging leaves a LOT to be desired. Out of 12 cans of this soup 2 were banged up so badly they were unusable. They take these single cans of soup along with whatever else is in your order and throw them in a box with some (Air Pillows-little plastic bags pumped full of air.) Those Air Pillows last about as long as eggs would last with those heavy cans banging against them during shipping. It is just plain crazy to expect this type of packing to work properly. If they are going to continue to ship their products this way I will have to purchase elsewhere. Yes, I can get a replacement if I take the time to jump through the hoops (in this case must return to Walmart to receive replacement) required to do so, but why not just ship them properly to begin with so none of this hassle is required? Poor service!
It's not bad but not amazing, either. The corn is sort of out of place in this soup. It is a bit watery and you can tell the chunks of beef aren't completely 100% beef. The potatoes, carrots, vegetables are good and overall the soup has a decent taste. Not among my favorite but I would probably repurchase for a quick meal.
An unexplained price hike that more than doubled the online price of $2.49 to $4.99 each!!?? Also, delivery time was incorrectly reported as 9:43 a.m. on April 4th but NO DELIVERY was received period!
One of the four cans I ordered was damaged. Damage had to occur at the warehouse because the shipping box was pristine when it arrived and only one can was damaged.
