So much faster than putting the cans on the basement floor and smashing with foot. Put the basket under the crusher and the cans fall into the basket and when full, dump into bag for sale later. Why we waited so many years to get one, I'll never know! Nine to 10 cans in seconds.
Very durable even if it looks flimsy. Does take 10 cans without issues. Since it went on a wooden post outside used wood screws vs the ones it came with. All that I would recommend this product.
Great way to make some money with things you would get rid of. Last batch of cans I took in, I received $35.00 for them. This is the same brand that I purchased 13 years ago. It held up well but some parts did break in the end.
This was such a great addition to our kitchen! We go through a lot of cans in our household, and crushing them compacts them for easier recycling (curbside city pickup or taking them to a center for $$). It's actually fun to load the tube and crush your day's frustrations away. We had to replace after many years because the handle broke, and JB Weld only held out for a couple days. Notes: we always rinse cans so wall stays clean... also, slimmer cans might need loaded singly because feeder tube is designed for standard -the crusher snags two slim at once and jams.
I have had several can crushers and they always go wonky probably because the grandkids love to crush the cans for me. This Can-Ram Crusher is so amazing!!! I want to buy ten of them in case they aren't available years down the road!! This one holds ten cans waiting to be crushed and they fall right into place beautifully. The crushing arm is not two steel bands that can bend out of place, this is one strong arm that looks as if it will be perfect forever!! Even my four year old grandson loves using this one!! And the cans fall out the bottom after being crushed instead of someone needing to pick up and handle the sharp aluminum. The only bad thing is that we want to drink more soda so we can crush more cans!!!
The assembly instructions were a bit confusing but I persevered and have crushed several cans. Works as described and almost fun
The box was damaged, and the screws to mount the can crusher were missing. However, installation was straightforward, and it works great. The box was damaged, and the screws to mount the can crusher were missing. However, installation was straightforward, and it works great.
This looks identical to the one it's replacing that finally gave up after 20 years of heavy use. Expect this one to outlive me!
Took over a month to get to me. Its in several pieces and the box nor the directions have a photo. id go for something else.
This product is plastic. The cage fo The cans is extremely flimsy and the cans constantly tip and have to be straightened. The handle pushes up Instead of pulling downward, which is much my ore efficient. Very disappointed in this purchase.
