If you're looking for something to make sure that your water is PURE and you know what I mean nowadays that is the main thing for you and your family. This right here is your go to it's easy to turn a good spray. Don't take up so much space and it's great especially for your family to keep them safe the main thing your body is made up of 80% water. Make sure that water for your family and other families like yours is PURE this right here is what you need. I got it and the Filters last a long time but not expensive because if there was, I would let you know we have to watch out for each other nowadays because times are hard but these right here make sure everybody's OK and the water is good. I highly recommend recommended and give them five stars.
I started out with a pitcher and Britta pitcher filter but had to switch over to the tap Bitta system because of arthritis in my hands made it too painful to lift the pitcher, and I'm so glad I did! I now use it to fill my empty plastic bottles to keep in the fridge and I fill my ice cube trays with it, and my coffee pot!
After a decade of daily use my much-needed Brita became so difficult to switch between settings that I broke the knob. Rust and/or lime must have jammed it. My well water tastes okay, but it's not pretty... Thus the need for Brita. Without it I'd be buying gallons of drinking water. Thumbs up, five stars all that and more.
These filters are great to have if your water tastes bad. I've used the on-sink filters for many years and I like that I don't have a pitcher taking up space in the fridge that no one refills! However, there are some troublesome differences in the new filters. This one was very hard to install and it leaks. There is a lever now that is awkward to use to switch from regular water to filtered. It's located on the same side as the faucet and there isn't a lot of space. I like the old model better.
I like that these are somewhat affordable for their purpose. Putting the attachment on your faucet can be difficult untill you figure out you have to push it up as you try to screw it on without crossing threading. Be aware that these units can become nasty with build up and mold so using the attachment indefinitely is not a good idea, so take it off occasionally clean it make sure your not defeating your purpose of clean filtered water! I have purchased both unit styles by Brita so when it comes to ease of use I prefer the more expensive one because it is much easier to switch the valve. The last one I purchased was the cheaper unit and I'm disappointed because the valve doesn't close completely so it leaks unfiltered water while I'm trying to get filtered water. but that's something I've learned after purchasing 4 new units over time the are plastic so quality can be lacking that's why I say fairly affordable for it purpose.
Setup was easy, did taste a difference in water, and it was a good price when I first purchased it. two stars is only cause after having it for 3 weeks, water started coming out from the top of the filter, and every day, it got worse. I can't even use it.
A few days ago I purchased this water filter I used water test strips by Tespert the results lead shows up using the filter side and without the city has zero Lead.... the filter did lower Chlorine too zero and PH was improved the smell and taste was good but oddly added Lead which is very concerning 😟 the test results in photo on left is the filter and the right is tap water
I thought that I had bought what I had hoped was just what I needed It did not screw on the faucet correctly. It shot water everywhere. You might think that I did not know what I was doing. I had a professional technician do it for me. He said that there was no way that it was going to work properly So, I am out of over $30.00 and have something that is useless to me!
This is the third one I bought in the last month. The first two were chrome. The first one started leaking and spraying within the week, I thought the kids maybe broke it so had another in the cupboard because I always buy extra. This next broke within two weeks, the kids weren't even there, so I know it's the filter being faulty, not the kids. I just bought this white one thinking maybe it's the chrome. Guess well find out.
Bought one back in November and it worked for a couple weeks before spraying water out where the filter connects. Bought another one in December after a replacement filter didn't fix the problem. That lasted a month before having the same issue. Seems to be a fairly common problem
