I have a 5 lb. barbell, and by rotating the usage of both, they are working fine with me. When I use my two barbells together, I can really tell the difference while I rotate them.

This is a complete set of vinyl covered dumbbells from CanDo. This is a recognized name in the therapy industry. I used this brand in both inpatient and outpatient therapy at different facilities. There set includes two each of weights 1 through 10 in one pound increments. The set ships in four different boxes to keep the weight per box manageable for delivery. It was possible for me to bring the weights into my home one box at a time. I continue to improve from my double reverse shoulder replacement surgeries while exercising at home.

Product shipped in manufacturer packaging that was inadequate to survive FedEx handling and delivery. Original shipment arrived damaged due to failure of manufacturer packaging! Replacement arrived missing 2 of 20 units due to failure of manufacturer packaging! Strong, robust outer packaging and ample packing materials needed!

Incorrect hardware and missing washers in the hardware bag have been a disappointment - requiring separate purchasing.

When I purchased these weights its specifically said "pair" and I only received 1 and now the website description has changed! On top of that I paid over $30 and my roommate who ordered TWO 15lb dumbbells from Walmart paid $36. I should have received two dumbbells! I also ordered bands from walmart and those were inaccurately sent as well!

This was a birthday gift for my son and we are missing 3 of the weights (8lb, 9lb and 10lb one of each). He is so disappointed and these were not cheap. I do not recommend.
