Canson XL Series Mixed Media Paper Pad, Wire Binding, (98lb/160g), 60 Sheet, 7" x 10"

Good weight paper for many art projects. I use it mostly as a base for collage, but it's heavy enough for watercolor or acrylics.

This is my absolute FAVORITE paper. I am a professional artist, and I use this for sketching and drawing, and colored pencil pieces. I sometimes use it for markers, but it does bleed through the other side, so I would put something between sheets of paper. I don't like it as a watercolor paper, it just doesn't handle wet techniques very well. I have been using it for years. It's affordable too.

These Canson XL Mix Media Pad's are the best drawing pads ever. My daughter is really into art and runs through these so quick, so I do wish they had more pages in them but even so they are great. They have the perforated lines to easily rip out pages and she can use everything in them from crayons, colored pencils, markers, watercolors, and even acrylic paint. The pages are super thick and hold up to everything so far.

I ordered these for a k-8 summer art camp. They were perfect! We used watercolors, pencil, acrylics, ink and markers. They were the perfect size. Students commented that they preferred these over larger sketchbooks we used in the past because the perforations made it easy to take out sheets.

Very thick paper but good for pencil drawing it doesn't erase well at all. Pen drawings is good and it doesn't bleed though unless you do layers of the marker color. This is mixed media paper. So maybe it's not made for markers. I would be good to use as and art journal where your doing a lot of taping and gluing your created art to the pages. Not sure if the glue will leak through.

I was very displeased as a artist we don't like change the style was different then the one I have as was the texture paper was thinner then it used to be definitely not good for water color I will not buy or recommend if the other one I bought is the same I no longer will buy xl media
