I love Canson
Canson is my personal favorite affordable sketchbook brand. The watercolor paper is a good middle of the road for weight and quality and there's plenty of pages. I'm glad I was able to find an affordable sketchbook here. I'm currently into pastels and may try those in this next.

Best watercolor paper I know of
Great for watercolor. Holds up well with no fibers coming off and no warping. I highly recommend it.

My go-to for a watercolor sketchbook
I love the Canson XL line and this particular size of the watercolor paper is probably my favorite. It holds up well to three or so washes and lots of mixed media. For the price and easy availability, this is my number one pick for daily watercolor practice. I've bought it again and again.

Good paper
This is pretty good watercolor paper and it's nice it comes in wired pad. This paper is best for wet on dry techniques, or very limited wet on wet. It can't hold up to heavy washes like you do with abstract watercolors but would work well for more illustrative art.

on the go
Very convenient for on-the-go purposes. Perforation is convenient and does not leave raw edges. Quality of the paper is decent. I like the sturdiness and that it is spiral-bound
