My grandson asked me to order these Cap Barbells 20 lbs each because he lift weights. He was happy to get them and is satisfied with them. I am happy and satisfied because my grandson is happy with Cap Barbells 20 lbs. each.
The only result I gave it 4* is because the sand weights are stored in thin plastic bags if you need to change the weight often I don't see them lasting long. But the quality of the rest is great and seems durable
These are large and bulky. Difficult to put the weights in and out of the pockets. This is not ideal someone smaller they were very large on my ankles.
I liked the outer material of these weights. Zipper was a little tough to operate and I worry that it would fail over time. The plastic bags that hold the gravel/sand feel pretty thin and cheap. Another potentional failure point. The biggest issue is that these were so long that they would not close tight enough to stay on my ankle. Reall bummer becuase they were the moat affordable option.
They are as pictured, but too awkward to actually get around my ankles and Velcro in place. I needed adjustable 10- pound weights for my home physical therapy exercises. I can use these by just balancing a weight strip on my ankle and lifting it while seated. The zipper is difficult to move past each flimsy 2-pound plastic sand- bag. I plan to get to 10-pounds and leave it there. The cost was low.
My first ever order of ankle weights from CAP came in a pair like it was supposed to. A pair refers to two corresponding or matching items intended for use together. My next order I received only one ankle weight. No problem, I understand mistakes happen. I returned the order to get a replacement and the replacement had the same problem. I only received one ankle weight instead of a pair again. I'm not going to go through the hassle of returning it this time. I'm just going to make another purchase of the so called (pair) so I can receive the other ankle weight so I can have a pair. If you decide to buy a "pair" of CAP ankle weights, expect to only receive one. After this I will never buy a product from CAP again and I wouldn't recommend you or anyone else to make a purchase with them.
BAD REVIEW is not the fault of the product but is due to the UNTRAINED PACKING EMPLOYEES, as this has happened to other buyers. Item description clearly states, "20lb adjustable ankle weight(S), 10lb x2", yet I and others only received ONE weight. I have trouble believing this was not intentional by the packer.
We only received one weight, it is for ankle weights. There is no way to send it back or to let anyone know that only one came. This is for Christmas for my son and now i cannot give it to him as a gift. Really disappointed
These weights are extremely long and wide I would not recommend them for ladies. They are so big that even when fully tightened with the Velcro straps, they slide off my foot. Not conducive for Pilates, which was my reason for the purchase.
I tried numerous ways to make this work. between the very strong velcro I couldn't find a way to change the opening size for the size of my leg. The design makes no sense
