Caprica: The Pilot (DVD Widescreen) (DVD)

Great prequel to the BSG series. The pilot movie kind of hints at where the Cylon began their hatred of mankind with the creation of the very first Cylon.

Very good show. Dvd was new. Best price on internet.

An outstanding movie. Helped fill in some of the blanks from the TV series. Just hoping now they come out with the rest of the TV series on DVD. There is a second half that was on the TV series and at the end of the 2nd season it left things open for a season 3.

Battlestar was a great show and from the preview, Caprica should help fill the void where BSG use to live. Assuming its still gonna be a series. thats what the TV said but who believes anything it says.... Apparentley most of you, with oreily's ratings... Anyway even tho the dvd is a ploy to make a little quick cash, if youv'e bought the BSG series it wont be complete w/o this DVD

Very good science fiction. It was worth the money although a little pricey. It hasn't been aired on TV yet so that is probably why. As good as or almost as good as the original Battlestar Galactica series. It is a must see movie.

The DVD is a great story of beginning of how the cyclon series started, if you are a fan of the Battle Star Galattica Show ? This is a great why to recover from the ending of that hit series.

I enjoyed watching what is basically a prequel to the series. The actors were good, and I am eagerly anticipating the new series.

This really helps put Battlestar Galactica story together, to know how it all started and why and opens a new chapter in a really good story. GOOD acting!

This movie will appeal to Battlestar Galactica fans as well as new viewers. It had me puzzled as to why SciFi would release the new pilot episode for its new series on DVD and once I saw the movie I knew why. The movie does contain brief nudity and does have some subject matter that is questionable for young viewers. Would give it an "R" rating. Once it is out on TV it will surely be edited and that is unfortunate as the extra minor "not-TV like subject matter" definately help set the tone. The movie however was outstanding and does answer some questions for BSG fans as to how it began. Like I stated earlier though, it is a fully stand alone feature and I can't wait for the series to begin. It isn't your typical SciFi series as it is very "real" in that for the most part could be Earth 50 years from now (minus the interstellar travel (though not mentioned too often)). Bonus content is your basic behind the scenes stuff but nothing worth writing home about. I thoroughly enjoyed it and recommend it highly.
