one of our cats had a massive flea infestation and we tried everything but the bath route..it's pretty impossible to think about putting our cats in any level of water and walking away unscathed !..we firmly put one tablet in each of our cats mouths and massaged them down their throats..we did this inside and then let our cats go outside to prevent any fleas from abandoning ship inside the house..within 30mn, the fleas began literally falling off like magic !..they weren't jumping anywhere yet slowly dying..our cats have been very happy and healthy ever since..this treatment is absolutely incredible !
I just got a dog from a rescue. She was infested with fleas. She has so many, they were biting me! My daughter told me about Capstar so I bought it. I only had to give her one pill and all the fleas were gone. This stuff is fantastic!! It costs a bit, but is worth it.
I bought this product to replace the much more expensive medicine sold by my vet. It's the same medicine and works the same way. It kills all of the fleas on the animal for 24 hours. I gave it to my three cats and a dog for several days in a row while I worked to get rid of the fleas in the house and it worked as expected.
I adopted two feral kittens who had lost their mother. They were flea ridden, and soon after my adult cats were jumping with fleas as well. My veterinarian suggested that I treat all of the cats with Capstar, treat the house for fleas and then use a topical flea preventative. I did all of these, in order. The Capstar begins working immediately, killing any fleas that are lurking in the cats' fur and biting. Yes, it's a pill. Pilling cats can be challenging, but these tablets dissolve fairly easily so can be disguised with cat food (or people food, like tuna). My cats ranged in age from 10 week old kittens to a 16 year old senior. None of them had any adverse events or side effects after using Capstar tablets. Capstar is a good way to get immediate relief from fleas for your kittens (6 week old and up) and cats.
I am careful with flea protection but things can happen and we had a little problem with fleas. This took care of it in one day. Great to keep on hand just in case! Remember, it's not for protection but to get rid of an infestation. Excellent product.
I know this product works because when I almost lost my car to fleas back in 2007, it was what the vet gave us to kill them quickly. Within minutes of giving to them orally, you can see the animals reacting as they die off.
It seem to work within the first day. However, I have needed to give it again weekly. It worked better than any flea baths, sprays, powders or the meds from the vet.
this will get the fleas off of your cat in 24 hours, but it does not keep the fleas from climbing back on within the next couple of days. So use this is you want a quick cleansing but add a treatment that will prevent fleas from reinfesting. [This review was collected as part of a promotion.]
My dogs started scratching within a week. Must keep the yard sprayed. Can't spray the neighbors yards. Appears to comfort him the first four days. I was excited.
I received this package already opened and used so I refused to give it to my pet. I've been trying to get this situation taken care of since I bought the medicine. I refuse to give it to my animals plus like I said it was already opened and used it looked like so I threw it away. y'all will not refund me my money or even compensate me for my crappy services so no.. I would NOT recommend this to ANYONE!!! PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHAT YOU BUY OFF LINE BECAUSE IF ITS MESSED UP OR SOMETHING IS WRONG WITH IT THEY DONT EVEN WANNA REFUND PEOPLE'S MONEY FOR THEIR MISTAKES AND THAT IS JUST SAD. IF I DIDN'T HAVE TO RATE IT A ONE STAR TO BE ABLE TO LEAVE A REVIEW FOR Y'ALL I WOULD NOT HAVE EVEN RATED IT A ONE STAR. I REALLY WOULD LIKE MY MONEY BACK.
