Car Battery Charger, DFITO 12V/8A 24V/4A Smart Battery Trickle Charger for Car, Automotive, Vehicle, Motorcycle

So far, I have only used this Trickle Charger for 2 cases: (A) a 12-battery for a DuroMax XP13000EH generator (which was left in the garage for over a year) ; (B) a Toyota TrueStart battery left neglected for almost 2 years. I left the charger running in Pulse Repair on the Duromax battery for 4 hours, it raised the 0-load voltage from 10.9 volt to 12.7 volt. I have yet to test the battery under load. In case (B) , the Toyota battery was in bad shape, putting out only 10.7 volt (no-load) , I have been running the Pulse Repair mode for 6 hours, it did improve the no-load output to 11.8 volt. The manual recommends 24-hour treatment, so I will have to update this review later. The unit seems of sturdy construction, the metal of lead-clips is a bit thin. The Pulse Repair operation seems to accelerate the corrosion of the parts of the clips touching the batter ( ) electrode. If you own this unit, you should really consider get a bottle of 'BlasterProducts' ( or similar rust-treatment products, Walmart sells them ). to take care of the corrosion right away!

I needed a battery tender for a car that sits for months at a time. This unit is very easy to use. You just attach the clips to the correct terminals and plug it in to an outlet. It starts working immediately - and it can be used for cars, motorcycles and other vehicles. The cord isn't the longest so you'll need an extension cord, most likely. Right now, the charger is working on a second car. A great deal for the price!

Our Toyota Prius V had a totally dead 12 volt battery. This battery charger charged it back to life very quickly...thanks

I purchased this charger to act as a battery maintainer in my wife's summer car. Last spring the battery was completely dead so I decided to try this charger. As cheap as this item was I didn't expect much from it but when we started the car after several months the battery was healthy and charged. I like the small style also. I do wish the electrical cords were longer.

it help me out alot when I was testing out my alternator and alternator was going out battery was draining and I change out a wire a terminal wire they call it I called a relay wire charge my battery up good and that jump start box when alternator is going bad get about 3 miles out of it

it was easy to figure out since my girlfriend and in her brain straightening up the place did something with the box in the instructions for it that I have no idea or what she did I still have yet to find my glasses because my girlfriend goes crazy with moving stuff and then whenever I ask about it later yeah suddenly becomes my fault anyway but the product itself could price and hopefully it will do what I'm trying to do with my battery for my vehicle

I ordered this charger to be able to jump start autos! This charger must be plugged into an electrical socket in order to use!

Comes with incomplete instructions. Had to watch a Youtube video. Followed directions and hooked it up to battery in car. It showed a little less that 80% charge. The indicator panel showed that it was supposedly charging. Six hours later, it was still at 80% and still charging. At the 8 hour mark, no change. Hooked up a trickle charger overnight at battery is at 100%.
