The pole is lightweight and remains sturdy when fully extended. While it can be a bit challenging to lengthen at times, it just requires some patience. Overall, it is an excellent pole. We use it for commercial purposes about once a week, and it has proven to withstand regular use by employees.

Best piece of pool equipment I have purchased! Carbon fiber so it's not heavy, but IS super sturdy! Perfect length. I can reach to the bottom of the deep end easily. Won't bend or rust.

I have a heavy pool vacuum and this pole handles it very well. I also have the best and most expensive pool pole made. It cost $200 . It is better made from better material. Better quality all around. The point is this pool poll will do the job very well with the same heavy vacuum on the end of it. I remove one star because the locking ring mechanism is difficult to to deal with. When first extended, it was no problem. But unlocking the sections is difficult. The ring turns but the pole section does not slide out or in, very easy (it sticks). It is a real struggle for old hands. I bought it to use on a spare Vacuum. Even with the problem mentioned, I would buy it again.

Purchased because it was supposed to be light weight %26 strong. I loved how light weight it was but a big disappointment otherwise. Used very little last summer %26 broke the first time I used it last month getting leaves out of the pool. Would not purchase again.

It will not telescope as the thing must be in permanent closed up position?! I've tried the online hacks to have the mechanisms release but without luck. I wouldn't buy another thing from this company until it can deliver as promised.
