Carbona Washing Machine Cleaner, 3 Count Pouches

WONDERFUL washing machine cleaner! It took away the awful odor that another product was never able to reduce, and the odor did not come back for almost 2 months. Thank you Carbona!

My washing machine is relatively clean. I have had no issues with smells on my clothes. I used one packet of this product and have a noticed a big difference. It smells better, like nothing. It looks clean and the drum is easier to spin manually. I gave my wash a quick wipe down before using this product. I followed the directions on the box. I have a top loader. I used the highest water setting, highest temperature, and normal wash. My machine smells like nothing (clean) and the drum is shiny. I will use this on a as needed bases. No issues with residue and no lingering fragrance from the product. It is awesome that you get three packets in one box for a great price. This product will definitely prolong the life of your machine. Highly recommended.

I was skeptical of these actually working and removing the mildew smell from my front load HE washing machine. They worked very well and I would definitely purchase again. I have used 2 of the 3 pack so far and will continue to use these every so often.

Not the most economical solution, but I have to say that Carbona WORKS like none other! Previously, I had relied on bleach and the tub-cleaning mode for my washer, but it started to smell anyway, even though I keep the door open when not in use. I tried Tide washing machine cleaner, and not only did it not work to remove the musty smell from my washer but the perfume was horrid smelling. I suspect Tide relies on perfume to simply cover the mildew smell. Carbona completely rids my washer of any kind of mildew/musty smell along with the gunk that used to form underneath the seal (an area that is near impossible to get to when cleaning), and it leaves behind no strong-smelling perfume at all. Keep in mind that I do take very good care of my washer and will run bleach through it on the tub-cleaning cycle about once a week. I find that this works okay for a while, but I inevitably need Carbona after about a month to seriously deep clean the washer and remove the subtle mildew smell that is left behind even after bleaching. If you do this and don't forget to empty the remaining water through the bottom hose in the front of the washer, clean out the lint trap, and leave the washing machine door open after use, you'll never get that funk smell again (and I've had my LG washer for 4 years now and use it weekly)!

I have tried several other name brand products. Even with all the bleach odor they produce the mildew smell would eventually and quickly return. A concoction I found on the Web seemed to work for awhile but it was labor and water intensive. Carbona is easy to use and appears to clean very well. I did a treatment 3 weeks in a row and will reduce that to twice a month for 2-4 times. Then once a month. We have very hard water so I believe it's going to be necessary to stay on a set schedule.

Just received this and used it one time so far. Seems like odor has gotten better and will try it again in two weeks.
