My husband is not strong enough to stand from a chair; wheelchair, transport chair, or any standard chair. He needed just a little help and the Uplift Seat Assist was made for him and for people with the same problem. It is such a back saver for me, the caregiver. I recommend it highly.

If you have difficulty standing from a sitting position, this device might be perfect for you. After surgery, standing up for me required help from others; now, I can stand up without help. The directions are well written and clear; the user must make a specific adjustment according to his/her weight. If works for me on a sofa, rocking chair, as well as a dining room chair.

I have IBM ( Incluesion Body Myositis ) and I have trouble getting up from chairs an need a little assist to do that. This product has been able to that, it is mobile and I take it to restraurants and can get up from the table by myself.

I take it with me to my choir practice where the chairs are too low and have no arms.to help me stand. I have been able to stand up using my walker in the locked position to hold on to as I stand with the gentle assist of the seat. The handle is not comfortable for me to carry , but it fits into a cloth bag.

This seat enables me to sit in a standard height chair in a waiting room. I cannot travel without it and it fits neatly in my 17 inch Drive F-22 walker

Works great if chair has arms,very heavy to carry, I put a shoulder strap on it helps a lot.

This item would NOT OPEN so we could use it. IT WAS DEFECTIVE.
